Yes, I recommend the sauce. I made the trip all the way back from Kentucky and made Kirkwood part of my route to see Marc, Mr. J himself, and get my hands on some delicious sauce.

WOW👏 That is the best pork steak I have ever had! My coworker and I accidentally found Mr. J’s BBQ while walking to the Kirkwood Farmers Market. We both got dinner to go and even after I reheated it, the food was still impeccable. The sauce has the perfect balance of flavor and spice so we grabbed a couple bottles to take home! Definitely give these guys a try! You won’t be disappointed!

The sauce on the ribs was unbelievably good, and the chef makes it himself, I can’t recommend this joint enough great serving sizes great meats, and the sauce was to die for. Definitely will be back.

Just picked up a full slab of ribs and two sides at the Kirkwood Farmers Market pop up. I was going to save for dinner tonight but my kids begged me to let them at it. They said it just smelled too good to have to wait. The food is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend you try them out.
