I had the Rib Tip dinner. The meat was a little tough. If you like your coleslaw or spaghetti sweet and peppery, this is the place to go to!!! Mom enjoyed her chicken, greens mix and the rest of my dinner. I will go back to try other items in support of a black minority owned business

SUPPORT BLACK OWNED RESTAURANTSWhen you walk in you are greeted and the brother behind the counter is so kind. He was very patient with my dad & nieces. He also is very funny. The food is amazing; I got the 6 shrimps w/ yams and potato salad. My dad loved his tripe sandwich and my nieces loved their cheeseburgers. The banana pudding was delicious and so was the peach cobbler. I love how the place is decorated. Will continue to support.

I wish i could give 0 stars but 1 will do.. Cashier was very welcoming to customers upon arrival. I just wish their menu and food was equivalent to their energy they put in their customer service. Ordered a 6 piece shrimp with mac&chz, sweet potatoes & greens. The shrimp were very mid, unseasoned. If you are a cook at home then you can tell the shrimp was double dipped << 2 stars. The mac&chz tasted like it had been reheated in the oven everyday for the last 4 days as if it was thanksgiving leftovers. The sweet potatoes weren’t sweet at all.. in fact they were canned. They same color as a peach & the shape of a ice cube. The greens were actually cabbage & they tasted like damp lettuce with no seasoning. Pulled apart like paper.. most restaurants give you cornbread, hawaiian rolls or even a muffin as a bread dish. They provide literally 2 untoasted, unbuttered pieces of bread that you can walk in your kitchen & grab straight from the loaf. Throw them in a ziploc sandwich bag and call it a meal. Very dissatisfied. 1st & last time trying them out. Food was very overpriced considering the condition of the food from the taste, to the temperature, to the way it was positioned in my styrofoam container. As if she sells plates out of her kitchen but with a location. Please enhance the love you direct your chefs or yourself that goes into the food! Waiting area was also 1/2 the size of my living room. Very compacted.. felt as if i could get claustrophobic at any given time.

Beautiful atmosphere very tight seated though, the customer service was so great, the cashier was so nice and very polite had a lot of respect towards her customers. Took her time with the elders. But the food was bland, the sweet potatoes was fresh out the can, the greens and cabbage had no flavor, the chicken was old and refried taste like grease, the macaroni was so dry and mushy. The shrimp was pretty good with the Tatar sauce. The okra was okay and the fries wasn’t fresh.Parking: Parking is located on the side of the building enough space even if it’s busy.

Spent almost $70 on three meals. The fried chicken was bloody on the inside, the greens and macaroni and cheese were packed with sugar. Who puts sugar in greens and macaroni and cheese. I doubt my ribs were barbecued, it tasted baked. I barely ate the ribs because I was unsure if it was fully cooked under the sauce due to the blood in the chicken. It was my first time there and will surely be the last. I do not recommend!
