My go to Mexican. I love the fact that they have a drive through, you can pick it up after a long day and have a comforting meal. Been eating here constantly for years and NEVER been let down 10/10!

Nachomama's used to be fantastic. That is no longer the case. The last few times I've been there it's be awful. Today was my last visit. I'm not sure what happened to the place. Plus, they don't take cash.

Jan‑YUM‑ary Day 2: Nachomamas – Manchester
Nachomamas came out swinging today.
I started with the cheese nachos rocking that super‑supreme blend — the kind that makes you pause mid‑bite like “oh… they didn’t have to go that hard.”
Then the enchilada hit me with a wave of nostalgia so strong I almost drove to the nearest Taco Tico just to stand in the parking lot and reflect on life.
The tacos weren’t my personal MVP, but they had personality — like that cousin who shows up overdressed to the cookout. Not your fave, but you respect the commitment.
And listen… I had big plans for those leftovers. Olympic‑level plans. But outside the liquor store, a dude asked if I had anything to help him get something to eat. So the bag went to him instead.
Honestly, I hope he tore into that enchilada like it owed him money.

I had not been here in a couple years but boy.Did the quality really go downhill. No friendly family atmosphere anymore. The hard shelled beef tacos I had were disgusting. No flavor at all. Rock Hill's really gonna lose a lot when Hacienda goes and they're left with this.

Not the Nachomamas that I frequented years ago when I lived in Webster :( The chicken burritos used to be unique in flavor and have cabbage in them, now they’re so bland and are mostly rice and beans and cheese. There was BARELY any chicken so I opened it up and showed it to the manager. He agreed it was sub-par and I asked for a refund for both burritos, which he granted. We trashed them. You have to order chips separately from any dip or guaq ($$), and their salsa bar now has thimble sized cups to fill. It’s sad because we always like to go back when we return to St. Louis, but it’s no longer the Nachomamas we used to love.

Food is awful, cold and rice wasn't even cooked. The staff was great that is it.
Just had NachoMama’s and the crew was super nice and friendly!!! Luke and Chris exceptional delights, tamales and chicken quesadillas was sooooo good. Chips were warm and REALLY good. Thank goodness for days before the holiday I was in and out. Definitely going back before year end.

Tried the drive though tonight, per usual it was busy so I decided to not be lazy and go inside and order. The restaurant had 2 tables so I figured I made the right choice by ordering inside. Well the guy at the front said they were only taking dine in orders that they were backed up. What? So it makes a difference if u serve my food on a tray vs a Styrofoam container? I realize they are short staffed, but really? Do the people in the drive through know you're only doing dine in? Lol. I should have ordered dine in then asked for a to go container. Love the food!
Hadn't been in for quite a few years and brought my kids by for lunch.
Ordered the exact same thing I've purchased for 20 years, though the name is now different. Chicken nachos grande. Kids got chips and cheese and chicken fingers with rice.
Bill came out to $38 (I had to get a drink, kids had theirs included).
What I got for the price I wasn't thrilled. The chips with cheese were just tortilla chips with some Colby jack sprinkled on. That's on me for assuming it would be more but for $6 including a drink that's an interesting price point. She did like it though so price is really my only issue.
Chicken fingers were good but the rice that came with it was pretty dry.
On to my meal. There couldn't have been 10 strips of chicken on my nachos at all. Really no seasoning so to speak. Fortunately the salsa is still awesome so that definitely saved the day.
Been here many times and thus is an outlier. Will be back to try again.

We have always thought NMs was the best Mexican food in STL. Almost humorously expensive, but very delicious. Unfortunately, things have changed.
There was a fly buzzing around, the place felt sort of dirty, they give you the smallest possible container for salsa known to man, no tops for your drinks, and the cheapest napkins in the Western world.
The food took 30 minutes after ordering inside. 30 minutes! They have online ordering now, so you might think you are “up next,” but that is not the case. We always eat in there, but now it is completely designed for online ordering, so it feels stupid to order in the restaurant.
Fine -- good things come to those that wait. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t very good at all. My burrito was borderline cold. My wife’s dinner wasn’t much better. So disappointing.
We just took it in the chin, ate, and left. For $40 for a burrito (not the platter), chicken fajitas (maybe a chicken breast worth of chicken), and one fountain drink, you felt obligated to eat it.
You could tell they had new people working there, which I am sure had something to do with it.
Easy for me to say, but I would suggest to the ownership to sacrifice a little bit of the margin to ensure repeat business. Go crazy, get the nicer napkins, ha!
I can't imagine going back.

Whoever was working the drive-thru window on November 20th, 2025 does not know how to do his job. I had to repeat myself several times for what I wanted, and then he didn’t ring up the item I had originally ordered so I had to drive back through the drive-thru line to get it. While I was ordering, he was talking to other people in the kitchen. I saw other cars in the drive-thru line just drive away, assuming they couldn’t keep waiting. The line was very slow. I don’t know what happened to this place but in my right mind I cannot return as long as inept employees are hired to work here.
