We are in town for the Gateway Dirt nationals- this place is amazing. We met Nadine's daughter, who was our server, and she was so personable and nice. We are soo happy we chose this place to eat. Down home good food! Cheap also!

An elevated versions of standard breakfast fare. Highly recommend coming here. Staff was attentive and welcoming. Food tasted and looked like pride went into its preparation. Best cornbeef hash and slinger(Southside) in metro St Louis. Pancake kissed with butter was also very good. The flavor was good enough by itself that we skipped the syrup.

I had a bad cold for 10 days and I was tired of chicken vegetable soup. I decided to get some breakfast even though my taste buds were dead. The customer service was superb. The customers appeared to be satisfied with their meals.

Try the Cinnamon French Toast! They have apple butter that makes French toast sing! The coffee is consistently excellent and the service is attentive and friendly. Jerry the cook is quick and skilled and has never served a piece of bacon that wasn't perfect!
I moved a while ago so a visit is an investment in time and mileage, but breakfast at Nadine's and a visit with Jerry is the best way to fuel up for a sweep through Soulard Farmer's Market or a Sunday Fun-day in the Soulard neighborhood.
