Beware of Darkness
I just moved nearby and was looking for a new Chinese food spot. St. Louis is hit and miss on Chinese food, with mostly a lot of misses. I was super happy that the food was terrific at New China! I had the Kung Pao chicken lunch special. Came with fried rice and an egg roll. It was the best I've had in the area. The crab rangoon and fried dumplings were on point. 10/10, I'll be back!

The food was excellent, and the portions were plentiful! Their meats are prepared perfectly, their sauces are incredible, and my food was ready lightning quick. The crab rangoon was a bit heavy on the cream cheese, but that's a very small gripe in an otherwise amazing meal!

I went here one time before this last time and the food was okay. I recently ordered two hot braised chicken plates and the food tasted like perfume!! I called and they agreed to remake it but it also came with a side of attitude and bad customer service. Usually the girl is respectful but she was snobby and I didn’t like it. Don’t be snobby to customers we are all tired from work so waiting an extra hour wasn’t in my plans. Improve
