We drove to Nexus on January 4th after our reservation was confirmed for 8 PM, only to find the restaurant closed upon our arrival. My request is simple: if the restaurant is closed, please do not confirm reservations. It's courteous to avoid wasting others' time. I also suggest updating your status on Yelp and Google when the restaurant is closed to keep up with modern practices. Thank you.

Made a reservation before going to the Fox got there and they were closed. Had to confirm reservation twice before. Really screwed things up we had to scramble to find a place we could get in to eat before the show. Ended up eating crappy overpriced food. Why can we make reservations if you are not open!!

Laaaawd ham(have) mercy! The food was heaven! The crafted cocktails were heaven. I think I was in heaven!! š„¹Everything I tried was beyond my expectations. I set the bar high too. I was so ready to crawl in a little corner and take the cloth napkin, drape it over me and have me a little siesta. The flavors were flavoring!!! I want to thank Chef Jack, Camryn (I hope I spelled your name right), Aaliyah, and the bartender for an outstanding experience. I really didnāt want to write this review because Iām selfish when it comes to places like Nexus. (Well Iāve never experienced a place like Nexus in St. Louis, and I kinda want to gate-keep) š. And what yāall see pictured is pure deliciousness. Iāll see yāall real soon.

Exceptional flavor combinations! This is a multi plate style place and all five dishes we tried were stellar. Sweet, spiced, sour, creamy; everything we tried was perfectly balanced and unique. It has a hip, historical aesthetic and a very intimate vibe. Highly recommend!

I'm so excited about this addition to Midtown. Everything was top-notch. I sat at the bar and the bartenders could not be any more kind and attentive. I love the ambience inside, chic but cozy. You can taste the love and dedication chef Jack puts into her food in every bite you take. I highly suggest the lobster poboy, I'm not usually a big fan of lobster, but it was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The cocktails are complex and flavorful. This might be my new favorite spot for a bite and a drink.
