The special today is Chicken Tortilla Soup and - man! - it was special! Tender big chunks of chicken, thick creamy broth, tasty black beans and sweet corn so fresh it pops when you bite it! Just a hint of heat with great seasoning. I didn't notice the tortillas, but who cares! Spectacular special Ginger!

We’ve ordered our party catering from Soulard’s for two years now! We loved the chicken ettouffe and the jambalaya and the sausage beans and rice.
On a regular market day, we enjoy the chicken and dumplings, yum!!

This was my second year getting food catered from Soulard’s Cajun Corner for my annual Pet Parade Party!!! Did you know they have so many gluten free and vegetarian options?! Not only is the food beyond delicious and filling but the service is friendly and the staff is great to work with! Don’t forget to grab a Cajun Bloody Mary when you order!!! 🟣🟡🟢

It ran me off really bad. The cake was good.
Soulard's Cajun Corner is located in a large farmer's market type place. We had the clam chowder, jambalaya, corn bread, and gumbo. All were very good but, the sausage in the jambalaya stood out! So good.
The prices cannot be beat.
One thing to note though, we found a lone table outside the market but, there is basically no seating. Soulard's Cajun Corner is more of a to-go place.

Sold me cool, uncooked, raw Polish Sausage. I was concerned about getting food poisoning, so i went back into the market. When I returned to the counter to ask if the meat was a cured meat or pre-cooked, the lady's response was, "I don't know if it's cured or not. I'm a vegetarian. I think if you microwave it, it would be ok to eat." Uncertain and with no definitive answer. No offer of a refund or offer to replace the raw food with cook food. I threw the food in the trash and walked out.. didn't want to take the risk. The food... if cooked, probably would've tasted great. Customer service was terrible. I definitely would not recommend this food stand, food poisoning isn't worth it.

Best cajun food in all of St. Louis. This place is a staple of Soulard. All of the workers are incredibly friendly and give the best service around. A trip to Slulard isn’t complete without stopping here and trying the jambalaya.

I Doordashed to my job the chicken etoufee, was absolutely amazing, and the little things to make their customers feel special are not unnoticed. They wrote just a quick thank you note on the bag that made my whole day, will definitely order from them again!

This is a strictly pick up at the window place. But, the food is good and the employees are kind. The jambalaya is excellent. Get the cornbread with it. Prices are reasonable.
Parking: City put parking meters all around.
