6 days before my daughters Sunday Brunch Wedding we were informed there would be NO chef for prepared eggs station. Even though we signed this contract greater than 6 months before! We were left with just 1 option of a pan of scrambled eggs, no thank you. Unfortunately this was unacceptable but what could we do at this late date. Nikki was great to work with at our reception but the food was basically just standard continental fare and neither of the owners has reached out to apologize for this inconvenience or disappointment even though I requested it. Would not recommend this company for your catering needs.

Hollyberry provided the catering for our reception at Third Degree Glass Factory and they were a wonderful choice. Initially, when we started looking at our catering needs, we solicited quotes from several companies. Most catering companies weren’t able to deliver all of our wants in our budget, but Hollyberry offered flexibility and competitive pricing to meet our needs. We ultimately decided on Hollyberry based on several factors: they were honest and upfront about their pricing and it was affordable, they offered a fun and innovative menu, and their dishes were able to accommodate multiple dietary needs. It turned out to be a great decision!Once we partnered with Hollyberry, they worked with us to construct our ideal menu including a variety of appetizers, plated entrees, desserts, and late-night snacks. We felt supported throughout the process and having the ability to taste our menu beforehand offered us welcome insights and influenced how our menu was constructed. We ended up working with Nickie who was a wonderful partner. She was enthusiastic, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience! The couple of weeks leading up to the wedding, Nickie was flexible in accommodating changes to our guest count and was able to take design ideas from us and run with them to create a cohesive vision for the evening. One thing to note: we signed a contract with Hollyberry nearly a year prior to our event and built our contract and menu with one coordinator, but were ultimately reassigned to Nickie. Nickie was so excited to take on our event, but we wished Hollyberry would have shared with her more details and decisions made previously revolving around our event. She wasn’t given our updated contract so we had to sync up many of the details we had confirmed 4 months prior. At the end of the day, we were very much on the same page and wouldn’t expect this to be a common occurrence. The night of our 140-person reception, Hollyberry was on it! Their wait staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the experience at our venue was seamless. Nickie was very much in the moment and made sure to call out guests where there were dietary needs—we never had concerns about folks getting the wrong meal or accidently getting served something that could have caused a health issue. As far as the food goes—DELICIOUS! Particular highlights include the bacon wrapped dates (passed hors d’oeuvre), toasted cannelloni bites and buffalo chicken dippers (late night snack), and the fudgy flourless mini cake bites (gluten free dessert). We ended up selecting stuffed acorn squash (vegan friendly), mozzarella stuffed chicken, and beef tenderloin as the entrees, all of which were excellent, but particularly the beef, with many guests of ours commenting on how great the food was!In all, our experience with Hollyberry was great. They were able to build out an appetizing menu that adhered to our goals, arranged a cohesive vision for the food that enhanced the experience, estimated the perfect amount of food needed for our guest count and delivered a wonderful evening! We would absolutely recommend Hollyberry Catering!

Hollyberry was tremendously helpful during our weekend conference at Washington University in St. Louis. They provided dinner on Friday night, as well as breakfast on Saturday, and everything was handled so professionally. Additionally, the food was SPECTACULAR. Highly recommend!

I have to give a huge shout out to a Shannon and her team. I called in a panic needing a caterer for my daughter’s wedding shower. After speaking with her Chef, she could squeeze me in, however I had to pick up the order. I really wanted someone to service my luncheon but I was happy she could accommodate in any way. Wow! She could not have made it any easier. I was fully prepared to transfer the food onto my plates for a good presentation. Other than the sandwiches (only because I had a gorgeous platter I wanted to use) everything was left on their platters and it looked beautiful! And the food was incredible! The mini samplers were delicious (something for everyone!), antipasti skewers, pretzels, fruit kabobs…and the honey goat cheese, oh my gosh, it was delicious! I need that recipe! I also selected the deluxe sweets platter. It was perfect with our cake and gave many options for dessert. Shannon was so helpful in making the food choices, and offered wonderful suggestions. I’m not an expert planner with food. She suggested the quantities, I did exactly what she suggested and it was perfect!! They provide everything you need and their presentation was beautiful! You know it’s a success when there is hardly any food left. Everyone asked me who catered the shower, it was that good! Unfortunately, the busy day prevented me from taking additional photos. I highly recommend Shannon and Hollyberry Catering. They truly made my day less stressful! Thank you, Shannon. You are a gem!

Had a large catering order. Shannon was excellent with communication and pickup was easy and quick (and everything was super organized). Heard great feedback about the food. Highly recommend!

Would not recommend, food was cold and hard as a rock. The servers at the event were incredibly rude.

We had Hollyberry catering for our wedding last June they were in the batch of caterers our venue allowed us to pick from. The tasting went well we weren't allowed to try the beef tenderloin even when we offered to pay because they said it was too much for people, but I feel that if I spend thousands of dollars and offer to spend more it shouldn't bother you in the slightest and they responded rather rudely saying it will taste like what you expect it to taste like. Luckily it was very delicious and tasted as I expected, as was the mozzarella chicken(chicken parm), mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables. The hors-d'oeuvres were absolutely delicious at tasting but after arriving to my cocktail hour and trying them they were no where near as good and mushy which was disappointing. Service was mediocre and things were thrown away at the end of the night that shouldn't have been but I wasn't specific so that is on me as well. All in all I did get a lot of compliments on the food from our guests and the food was main courses were delicious but service is so so.

I'm really happy for the other customers on here who had 5-star experiences, but my experience was far less than five-star. I used this local catering company for a huge event at a major corporation in Maryland Heights a few weeks ago. As with all my catering orders that I have placed over the past ten years, I created my order with extra (+3) just to be safe, but it was never enough food. I had a week's worth of lunches and dinners set up for a large crew and executive team including the CEO and we had to run to the store to get more food almost every day!!. Hollyberry was unnecessarily overpriced as it is, so running out of food was a huge disappointment. I finally had to increase my order by almost 30 percent just to stretch the food out, and adding even more to the "per-head" price. The communication was really good and already factored in, to this two-star review. Most of the meals did taste good, except the gyros. This loaf of meat was saturated in and floating in copious amounts of grease and was very unappealing. TLDR: if you want to pay too much for your meals and maybe run out, then Hollyberry is for you! Sorry, not sorry.

I used Hollyberry catering for my Daughter's Baby Shower that I Hosted at The Wildwood Hotel on 2-13-2022. Marti the Catering Sales Director was very attentive in helping me host a successful Baby Shower. The food was beyond expectation. All my Guests were very pleased. I had a variety of food. For my event I chose the Mini Sammie Sampler(I had special requests that were met to my satisfaction), Fresh Fruit Kabobs, Greek Salad Kabobs, Veggie Potstickers, Bavarian Pretzel Sticks with Cheese Dip(#1 compliment from my guests), Corn & Chorizo Fritters, Spin dip bites, Mac & Cheese bites and Anti Pasta Skewer. Dessert: Cake pops & Strawberry Shortcake Shots. There was very little food left over. I will defiantly use Hollyberry again for future events.
