My 1st experience was take out. Was told 35-45min. It was 1hr & 10min later, food was good, couple pieces of asparagus were hard but the pork butt was delicious. 2nd time, ate at the bar, service ok, but i got served the worst baked beans i’ve ever had. How do you screw up baked beans?? Canned from Aldis would of been better.
My family and I arrived at 6:15. We walked out with none of the food we ordered at 7:30. We ordered and 20 minutes later our waiter apologized for the wait, he said they were working on a table of twenty - we were fine at this point. 15-20 minutes went by and he said they lost our ticket and we had to reorder. 15 minutes later he brings out a pretzel as an apology for the delay, we appreciated the food. 20 minutes later and we still didn’t have our food. At this point we’d watched table after table get their food. I’m not sure if he didn’t put our order in again or if he didn’t put a rush on it. Either way, we waited an hour 15 minutes before we finally just left. I put some cash on the table for the drinks and walked out.
Food is fire!!!!!

Don’t bother….Usually out of a lot of stuff and will close down 2 hours early a lot. Go to quick trip down the street
While Nubby’s is known for BBQ, their thin crust pizza steals the show. In fact, it’s my favorite St. Louis style pizza behind guido’s on the hill. Better than IMO’s! The sauce and cheese are incredible. This pizza is the best kept secret in town
Pizza is good. But some other dishes get no seasonings or salt, and rib meat doesn't fall from them bone.
Food was barely warm. Ribs were dry. Fries were soggy. Chicken Sandwich was $12 and small.
Great food!
Wonderful Smoked Buffalo Chicken Dip and Fabulous Nubby's Favorite Thin Crunchy Pizza. Loaded with toppings, molten provel as it should be and a tasty sauce.
I visited recently and was not impressed as others may have been. My pizza was overcooked, yet I didn't say anything as I chose not too. I didn't try the bbq as I didn't get the concept of Pizza, Burnt Ends and Crab Rangoon.

Called our takeout order in at 7:02. Told it would be ready in 40 minutes. Arrived at 7:40. Told it would she 20 more minutes, that they had 7 orders come in right after our call. 8:00: Told that she has no idea what is going on in the kitchen. I asked her to get another estimate because if it was going to be 30 more min, I’d just leave. She told me it would be 10 more min. 8:15: order still not ready. Told it would be another 15 min. Leaving empty handed
The Burnt ends were great and some of the best I’ve ever had Infact …..but the sides were ??….if this place made a few small changes it could be Top notch.
The food came out cold and the prices were a bit rough for what they were offering. Felt bad the kitchen staff was extremely understaffed. Look at this as a modern concession stand rather than a legit BBQ restaurant. Great for a quick appetizer but not a place we will go out of our way to visit again.
Great place! By far my favorite bbq spot in St. Louis. I lived in Texas for 14 years, Kansas City for close to 2 and this is one of the best places I've ever been. Brisket, pilled pork and pork steak were all amazing! Portions are generous and a great bar selection as well.
Just tried Nubby's on Telegraph for the 1st time this evening. The Brisket and wings were amazing! We have tried brisket from most every place in STL and this ranks at the top of the list. Our server Cassidy was very attentive, friendly, and fast which lead to a Great experience! We will return!
