Best place I've found in StL area for sushi. Lobster roll is incredible! Everything here is good! Get the Wasabi Shrimp. They are the absolute best mf shrimp you will ever eat!

We had such high hopes for this restaurant for takeout. We spent nearly $50 and got next to nothing. Small quantities for mediocre taste.

Oishi Sushi was overall a great experience! The service was fast and very attentive. The sushi was excellent and the restaurant is clean! I came for dinner on a weekday and was seated immediately with efficient service the whole time!My only qualm is with the pricing as I find that their quality is not any different than cheaper sushi options I frequent.

Atmosphere very good. Small but cozy. Very clean. Service was excellent. I am from Japan and the food was great. The Nori around my roll was fresh and rice used in my roll was good. Miso soup very good as well. The Tempura was cooked perfect. Highly recommend.

Really overated. Great staff, great ambience. That's it.The for price however, I would have expected twice the food. It didn't even taste great. You're paying premium for ingredients that aren't. I have no idea what my friends see in this place but save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere.

Food is almost always great. I did find a hair in my food last time, though. Hair completely grosses me out but I survived and didn't say anything.I also took my aunt here a month ago, and the waiter assured her the roll she wanted was gluten-free as she has a serve allergy, and it was not. She started breaking out in a rash and hives. The waiter really didn't seem to care. Maybe he was embarrassed, idk. The manager gave us 10% off the bill for it... to me that doesn't seem like enough. Will go back because I love the rolls but will make sure to triple check my order.

Got take out and cashier was super kind. Tried this place because it’s close to home.Unfortunately the food was super disappointing. Reviews showed that the phad Thai was good so I tried it, but it was incredibly bland and the chicken was very tough and overcooked. The crab Rangoon were also strangely bland. (My fav is from Mai Le or Lobster Rangoon from Kobé).I also got the squid and vegetable tempura and it literally had no flavor. It just tasted like veggies fried with just plain flour... No tempera crunchy flakes, but just flour. The tempura sauce was a little helpful, but the blandness wasn’t avoidable. The squid was like a rubber band texture that I couldn’t bite though and tasted like freezer burn.Have not tried their sushi, but am reluctant to after trying these dishes. Will most likely still trek to Thai Sawadee the next time we are craving Thai food.
