Sublime! The food here is delicious. The hummuses are second to none! Tel Aviv right in the heart of St. Louis.
Food was great! But sadly service was not – the restaurant was not busy but the attitude of the staff made us feel like we were a constant inconvenience just by being there. Part of our order was not put in, and after 45 minutes of waiting (after I had already finished my food), we asked our server if my partner's entree was still coming. He ensured us that it was, but then a few minutes later told us that it hadn't been put in. At that point we were ready to leave, so we told them it was okay and we would go without that entree – I understand that mistakes happen and we were chill with it, but expected some sort of gesture to make the error right. Instead, we just got a shrug and an "okay." Loved the few dishes I got but probably would not return due to the strange vibes here.

Not many places to get Israeli food. Hummus was good, lamb shank looked amazing, spinach dish was a bit under cooked. Cauliflower dish was SPICY! Tastes good though. Babganoush was GOOD. Pita was solid. We were sitting next to a window/door and were freezing. If you like Israeli/middle eastern food then you should really try this.

Atmosphere is cool. Very small. You will most likely be sitting outside, which is cool. Food was good but overpriced. Drinks were not worth the price. There are cheaper Mediterranean options that are better.

Top notch Mediterranean food! The chicken kefta and hummus were phenomenal.Only issue was the seating. We didn’t like dropping more than 100 dollars to be sat at a barbecue-style folding chair/table two feet from other couples, particularly given that we had a reservation.

Lovely patio for warm weather dining and attentive service, but the food was just okay.Things we enjoyed included the Mediterranean olives, pita, muhammara, and shuk hummus. The caponata had a similar sweetness profile to bread and butter pickles, which wasn’t for me. For mains, we ordered the cauliflower and turkey (because the kitchen was out of the other 2/4 options). Cauliflower was very lightly seasoned with a smooshy-steamed texture, which none of my party was super excited by. I’m of the opinion that turkey always comes out dry, and this was no exception.I might come again for a few of the small plates and a drink on the patio, but overall I was underwhelmed.

I did not think the food would be as good as it is! I dined there 2 times in 24 hours. The portions were small, but the flavor more than made up for that. My mother has eaten Baba ghanoush all across the world, and she says this was the best. The server during lunch was so nice, even when my mother gave her some grief for no reason.

Delicious Middle Eastern / Mediterranean dishes served with an American feel.We sampled a variety of plates on a Saturday evening, arrived without a reservation and were seated immediately. Both inside and outside have unique signs of an old garage, maintaining quite a few original features. All the plates we ate were excellent and are best shared between the table. We'd recommend the babaganosh and fire carrots!Servers were friendly and helpful, and met all our needs.Non alcoholic drinks menu is small but good enough. All other cocktails, wines, beers are plentiful.

The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the deluxe lamb, which came on a bed of hummus, and I added the toasted almonds on top of it. Also got the grape leafs.. let me tell you. The balance of sweet, savory, and tart was out of this world- definitely my favorite item. The baklava definitely tasted like someone's grandmother was making it fresh in house.- to die for amazing flavor.

I love having this place in the neighborhood! The menu format is a little bit different, with a lot of smaller plates and dips which are easily shareable. I believe the food comes out as it's ready, though the sever never fully explained that to us. Not a big deal, but some folks aren't used to that so it might be helpful to call it out. They were also out of one of the dishes we ordered. Again, not a big deal, but we did hear from friends who dined here that this was their experience, too, and it seems to be a theme among other reviewers. I like that they have a patio option, though if you get a table close to the street, it can be noisy. The patio could also use more shade in my opinion. Also, the dips we ordered were served in cardboard containers, which I thought was odd. We took some leftovers to go, and the server just handed us the lids to the containers and sent us on our way, so I guess it's a good system, but it felt a little strange given the prices. Still, everything we ordered was very tasty, particularly the egg salad, the stuffed grape leaves, and the drinks. I love that so much of their menu is plant-based!

The best part of eating here is sitting outside in the beautifully maintained garden. It’s just so relaxing to sit and admire the gardener’s work. The food is good but I didn’t think as good as I heard.Very eclectic menu. But i didn’t think there was much variety. The swarma’s were good. The cauliflower was good but they seemed to try and copy the flavor from Miznon but it missed the boat.A nice place to try(Ben: what’s this about putting your food on white bread? Name one Tel Aviv restaurant that’s even heard of white bread).

Mod Med -- and it's done superbly. Splurge and get the deluxe hummus with braised lamb or the chicken shwarma wrap. Cocktails are legit as well -- one of the best negronis I've had.
