I went here for the Yelp Experience. I chose Tuesday because it would be perfect for taco Tuesday. I had the potato taco. I had never heard of that before. It was interesting. It was good but I prefer beef or chicken. The margarita was great. The Pollo Ranchero was good. I would have given them 5 stars, but I didn't get guacamole with either dish. It was supposed to have guacamole with both entrées. I love Mexican food. I rate them often on the salsa. I may not go back if the salsa and chips aren't up to par. The salsa was good, but not my favorite. I can definitely go again. My server was Cice. She did an excellent job.

Every part of that experience was cool. My issue was with the bill. People going there and paying cash please be aware of the "cash discount". They are charging you for it. I have confronted them 2xs for charging me for cash. And they still charged me for it, then subtracted it, and never gave me my. .035% off. I am insulted how they tried to play me for a fool.Disappointed in this place for that. But just an FYI for those going to them.

I went to Padrinos for a lunch meeting. The server was delightful. She was super friendly and she made excellent suggestions about what to order for lunch that wouldn't be too heavy. She checked on us often. The service was great. The restaurant wasn't too crowded. So, I was able to have a productive meeting without shouting over others. The food was excellent as well. And there was a lot of it. I took home almost half my meal and ate it again for dinner. Overall, great experience! Will definitely dine here again.

A good place to stop in for a meal. As cold as it is,the soup was a good starter for the meal. I had the Pardon and it was quicky served, hot and delicious. Taco Shell was rolled thin and delicate, handle them gently. Surprised at the vegetarian offerings, some thing you don't often see on local menus offering Mexican style food. All in all a good place to stop for a meal or catch the game. A full bar is available with plenty of seating.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is small, but there are many kid friendly options on the regular menuWheelchair accessibility: Wide central aisle with table seating. Bathroom looks ADA compliant.

I ate all my food and someone else's.Every first of January for the past 6 years. My late husband and I would take the kids to a book store, and a new restaurant no matter what it is.August 1st 2023. My husband is 20 year passed away. So his father and I decided to continue the tradition of taking the kids first of January to bookstore and a new restaurant. After going to rooster on Grand and being told they had a one hour wait and they're no longer accepting clients. We just went across the street to a very empty restaurant but it was relaxing and worth it.

I love the location of this restaurant as well as the amazing food and atmosphere. I’ve ordered food to go as well a few times and usually you’ll have to wait at the bar, which they always come and offer a soft drink while you wait. It’s always so vibrant and upbeat. They also have karaoke sometimes which definitely brings out a crowd.Vegetarian options: Anything they make they can make a vegetarian option.Dietary restrictions: Definitely cater to diet restrictions.Parking: You must park and payKid-friendliness: Definitely a family atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access

In the scene of many good restaurants leaving Grand blvd and the surrounding area, I really wish Padrinos doing good. Their food is good, margaritas is really good. Their tamales remind me of the tamales I bought from Hispanic family stall on sidewalk in Dallas TX. I came one day craving for coffee, I asked if they can serve me any caffeine (knowing it isnt on menu at all), the server brought out a hot cup of coffee which saved my day. Salsa verde on enchiladas is on point. Nothing to complain on the shrimp and steak tacos with California crunch option! Must try.

Occupying 1/2 of the former Mangia space, Padrinos has really become a nice addition to the S. Grand strip. They have good happy hour specials and a limited but still very welcome late night menu on the weekend. It's the only Mexican restaurant around that you can still get any kind of food so late and it's nice to have the option. On Friday and Saturday nights, they host karaoke and DJs , so depending on the band or event, it can be very loud. I love that I can stop in and get a mug of beer along with my chips and salsa too!! Thanks for being pretty great, Padrinos!
