This is a small intimate lounge. I wanted to try the drinks yet many drinks I could not have due to allergies. I will visit again in the future.

Pagan Wine Bar in Central West End is a bookstore. No wait, it's a wine bar. Tucked away but right there in front of you, it's a quirky, offbeat spot. The cocktails here are unique concoctions. The bar itself can accommodate probably 25 people. It's very small and intimate. The group of five of us had such a great time. My drink is fantastic.

This is a fine CWE establishment. I'm not sure why it's not all over riverfront times and Sauce magazine best cocktail bars in St Louis because it absolutely is one of them! None the less the secret is out because this place is always packed, don't try to come here with a large group on a Saturday night -- 4 people max. If you do manage to snag a spot you'll be treated to friendly towny service, a fully loaded menu of great cocktails (and wines), and unpretentious but mysterious dark ambience. Stop by Pagan Wine Bar for a great night out!

Roach problem. I sat at bar and watched a whole insect party. It was directly after coffee cartel moved out. I pray the issue is taken care of now.

Pagan is always a go to for us. If you go definitely try the Claudius, it's one of the most unique drinks and definitely ann all-time favorite.

Pagan is exceptional and the bartender is a master at his craft. This is best for small groups of 3-4 or an intimate date, no large groups. The cocktails are all amazing, you cannot go wrong. I recommend the Sazerac and Green Dragon. You can't go wrong with anything here, though.

One of my absolute favorite cocktail/wine bars in St. Louis. Always a chill vibe and the bartenders are very sweet and funny. The lighting and decor is awesome too. Great for when you want to drink but keep it low key.

An absolute gem of a place. I was recently introduced to Pagan within the last year and am kicking myself for not making it here sooner. I think the thing I love the most about Pagan is that it is super low key, yet elevated. It's one door in a building off of Euclid and the sign is a bit hard to spot. When you walk in, it's a dark/ cozy vibe with low lighting and lots of trinkets around. There is bar seating, tables, and comfy seats. It's a pretty small spot, so I recommend coming early. They have servers, so sit down and relax and enjoy yourself :) I've been several times, but this time in particular I ordered their martini. I've only ever gotten wine here, and am so happy I finally got a cocktail. It was amazing. More of a lime/ citrus base than your typical martini. Loved it! It's great to go with friends or on a date night: highly recommend!

Great place for craft cocktails!!I love the gin variety (looking at you Monkey 47) and the crafted cocktails are on point. Super happy that they are opening a little early on the weekends and keeping hours more regular.Bartender was kind and personable. Music selection was great too. Love the vibe and chill interior.Derivatively a place I want to be and have been longing for since the CWE has seriously lost their good cocktail bars in recent years.

Great cocktails and super nice staff! They were busy when we went and still took the time to craft a beautiful drink!

Drinks are phenomenal and the bar is cozy and the perfect hangout spot. It's very hard to get into because the space is pretty intimate, but if you do manage to get a spot it's such a great experience!
