Got the brisket with sweet potato fries and pickles. My friend got the ribs and corn. Both were good, very tender. The sauce was also really nice (I tried all four and we really liked the spicy one the most).
The lineup was long when we got there but it was pretty quick, I think we had a 20-30 minute wait so not too bad (I once waited for an hour at a different BBQ place).
Placed our orders and food came out pretty quickly. The staff was really nice and recommended the sides (was not disappointed).
The inside had plenty of seating and had cool decorations, I think newspaper clippings or some articles lined the walls.
Overall, had a good experience and would definitely come back.

Five stars with one warning!!! This is my second visit and definitely did not disappoint. Service was excellent with very friendly staff. Last trip I only tried the ribs, this time I went all out and definitely got my money’s worth as well as satisfied that bbq fever. Oh and the warning……DON’T GET ANY ON YOUR FOREHEAD BECAUSE YOUR TONGUE WILL BEAT YOUR BRAINS OUT TRYIN TO GET AT IT!!!!!!! You’ve been warned! Very delicious, thank you Pappy’s team!

Very casual setting for absolutely delicious fall off the bone ribs! Long wait, but once you place your order and pay, you go to a table immediately and they bring you your food. Very friendly and efficient staff! We also tried the brisket and the fried corn on the cob, but the ribs are what make this a must try!

I am not a hater, but let me tell y'all about the brisket. It was unbelievable. No moisture/juice, no fat, no grease/oil. It tasted like it was slow roasted over water. Not very tender, but I won't be a stickler on that because it wasn't tough either, though I did hit a notable number of snags. I know everyone has their preference of thickness, but it was thin almost like a deli meat better for a sandwich. The burnt ends were decent. I know I sound dramatic and that's probably because brisket was the main thing I was going for and was sorely disappointed after seeing 4.7 stars and good review after good review.

I had so many people from out of town and out of state asking about pappys locations and raving about how amazing it was. The serving staff were awesome and kept everything moving smoothly. Guy walked up, took order, he was great, food came right out. Fries COLD , Hard , AND OLD!! FOR 23 BUCKS, REALLY. VERY DISAPPOINTED! RIBS WAS GOOD AND TENDER. .Fyi but why, FRIES do matter you know. I HADN'T EVEN PULLED OFF THE LOT YET WHEN I TASTED THEM. I couldn't even eat them and no time to give back because I'm working. What a waste smh..
