Delicious foot long grilled pork Banh Mi for $10. Incredible value, and the pork is seasoned really well.
Meh. Thought about my review and decided it was too positive. The food was average. Nothing bad but nothing to return for. The bahn mi itself was about the same quality that you would buy at a store but SO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE. It was over $60 for two people.
I gave this place three chances already, the banh mi is so hard and chewy. The bread is not fresh at all. I just thought they had bad batches, now I know they use old bread. I don't mind paying good money for a banh mi. Just feels bad paying overprice for mediocre food.
i have tried Bánh Mì, Sugarcane juice and Spring Rolls very delicious❤️
I usually go to Hi Tea in the Loop for boba tea, but they are closed. So, I’ve been coming here despite the fact that I’ve had uncomfortable experiences with the owner both at her nail shop and unfortunately at the restaurant (when she is present). This last experience at the restaurant was disappointing. When the owner is around in her businesses, the environment is somewhat hostile or awkward.
Yesterday I ordered from their website and as the website suggested on the confirmation page, I went inside 20 minutes later to grab it. When I arrived, I was underwhelmed to see the owner but played it cool and smiled. When I got to the register, I let her know that I had a pick up order and guess what “somehow” they didn’t notice my order came through. I initially knew that it was another passive aggressive move because there is no way I can keep having these experiences when she, THE OWNER, is involved. Luckily, I had my phone on me to show proof because if I didn’t, then I really feel like she would’ve tried to play it off and I would’ve lost $45. She is the type of person where if her employees did the same thing, they would have been berated. I have seen it.
Mind you, I’m still calm. I simply request a refund because I’ve already sat in the car waiting for 15 minutes. She told me to sit down and my order would be ready in 5 minutes. I felt pranked and I also didn’t want to be in public so I decided to just go back out to my car and wait bc I wasn’t going to give her the satisfaction of disappointing me again, playing in my face or get caught lacking-looking a hot ahh mess in public. 10 to 15 minutes later I sent my daughter inside to grab the food. She gets back to the car and we just drive away. As we’re driving away she notices the strawberry jelly for her boba tea was missing. And when we got home, she noticed the sweet chile sauce for her corn dog was missing. Unbelievable.
We just wanted to run out for a quick bite of take out and ended up fighting for our lives to remain in a good mood. Leaving the house is annoying now. Should have had it delivered.

The banh mi was … meh. I bought it on a friday night at 7pm. The town was bustling but the place was empty. You’d think it would be super fresh on a busy friday night but the bread was cold and stale.
The spring rolls were just insulting. One looked fine, one was burst open, and one was still in the cling wrap! I took one bite of the decent spring roll and spit it out, no flavor at all. I took the tiniest taste of the sauce and it was obnoxiously sweet. I could tell it was very old bc I have never seen the peanuts go completely soft before.
I also got a couple “too good to go” bags and again, insulting. I got 2 bags of croutons and 1 packaged pastry that expired DEC 2024!!
The boba drinks they gave me were gross unsweetened tea and matcha with tasteless boba.

Given them a few chances but service is terrible and rude unless you're Asian.I think they only value customers that look like them.

Wowza ! Melt in your mouth French Vietnamese goodness. Great service , the croissant bahn mi is a whole other level ! They do have a vegetarian & vegan option as well here. Sam Bo Luong signature drink & Vietnamese coffee is a must try .

Been here multiple times and I order the korean corn dogs (the cheese pulls are immaculate and it's cooked perfectly), and the pastries are also delicious. The times I went were when it's earlier in the day and many people weren't in the establishment, also the music adds to the atmosphere! Another good spot to go hang out with friends, go on a date (solo or romantic) Also the drinks are fantastic!!

Food was good. It's a restaurant made for introverts, so if that's your thing, get some good eats here. Bit pricey
