After WashU’s Fall 2023 dining overhaul, Parkside has become one of the best places to eat on campus. The barbecue is somewhat expensive yet it’s satisfying enough to help one justify it. The cafe has more options than before and better quality snacks/pastries as well. The ambience including outdoor seating and ambient light continue to be great, but tables/chairs will not be perfectly clean because of the large volume of students and you should pick a table carefully.

Grubhub ordering system does not work---I have ordered coffee numerous times and each time it says it's ready, it is not ready or even made, and the workers don't even know about my order. I don't mind the long waiting times if I order ahead, but when it tells me it's ready, I expect it to be. Many students order through the system and they wait around forever and have to the workers what they ordered in order for them to be recognized.

Great staff. Best place on campus so expect it to be busy.

Expensive coffee, considering they serve students!

This is the worst cafe I have ever seen around the place. Their service is full of racism when the customer is an international scholar or student. However, other cafes like DUC are very nice places to go. Only this Parkside Cafe is horrible.

Horrible. Awful. Waste of time and money

Would be a decent place to eat if the University didn't insist on scamming students with an overpriced, low value meal plan
