I had the Korean tacos.. delicious!!!
The meat is pretty tender and flavorful, but it is cut thick enough that it doesn’t feel like most bulgogi. The rice was damp and congealed at the base of the bowl. You don’t get almost any green vegetables in this bowl. I didn’t find any spinach. The kimchi is very good.
They could have a seriously awesome bowl of bap if it weren’t so heavy. That being said, it is very filling and I’m sure the people at the bar love that.
Food was delicious. Tiny menu but packed with flavor! Service was quick & the server even came & checked on us at our table even though the set up is basically order & go style. Not a lot of seating in the bar but they have space outside too. Would recommend & hope to go again!
I wasn’t sure what I was craving for dinner tonight but when I stumbled across this on Google, the photos of the food instantly caught my attention. I’ve never had bibimbap nor radish stew before, but decided to give both a try at the recommendation of the chef and was so very happy with not only the taste and the spectacular presentation, but with the speed of service as well! I had my food in less than five minutes, I was literally in and out ready to chow down at home!
The Silver Ballroom has always come across as a bit of a hole in the wall from the outside, and may still appear so on the inside, but like many “holes in the wall” in St. Louis it has a lot of charm and character from their gentle and colorful glowing lights down to their pinball room full of unique machines. I’m not much of a bar goer, but the tiny bustling kitchen and the dark, yet warm ambiance inside makes a return trip very much worth it. Thanks so much for the experience, I will be back!
My Mom and I went, when she came into town. The food was soooo good we got an extra order to take home for lunch the next day. And the people of Tiny Chef take pride in what the are doing. everything is made with love❣️
Always a choice.
A great food option if you’re around here. The bibimbap in particular was delicious.

Tiny Chef is unbelievably tasty. The hummus special was outrageously creative and delicious and I can't wait to have it again. Mushroom bulgogi? Sign me up... again and again and again!
Best meal I've had in a while. The steak bulgogi bibimbop rice bowl with dragon sauce was outstanding. I will definitely come back.

Nuclear Noodles and Carbo Noodles - In the top five best dishes in all St. Louis. All the other specials are wonderful too. Shout out to Kimchi fried rice and Tteokbokki. I love dragon sauce on the tacos. I add egg and cheese to basically everything. On top of all of it, Chef and team are great!
Melanie's food is made with love and you can clearly taste it. Incredibly fresh and masterful flavors. Don't sleep on this gem!!
My partner and I visited Tiny Chef with a couple of friends. My partner is a Korean adoptee knows the chef, and we had to come visit her while we were in town! Melanie was so kind and provided great service! Great tasty Korean inspired food. Highly recommend the tacos with dragon sauce and kimchi. The Korean hummus bowl special was such a fun dish. Yummy housemade rice chips!
Vegetarian options: The Korean hummus special had very good gluten-free vegetarian chips.
