Wife & I went at 7 pm Thursday for dinner. Thought we’d walked into a family backyard picnic. One group of people’ older gentleman with 5-6 women and 4-5 young children, had to be the loudest and inconsiderate people there are. Children had free rain of restaurant, climbing on the benches, running around. Evidently this group knew or were related to one of the female servers who waited on them. Not once did any of the adults, the waitress or the manager ? approach the group to quiet down. Ate our meal and left when done to enjoy normal quiet once we left. Completely unprofessional, makes us think about going back.

The Pasta House has been a family favorite and staple of St Louis for decades. It may not be classic authentic Italian cuisine, but it has certainly developed into classic St Louis version of authentic Italian. They are a little heavier on their sauces than one might expect. Their salad dressing is well known to locals and you can even find it at grocery stores. My favorite dish is their cannelloni, but their tortellini is a close second.

The waitress was a rude older woman with a bad attitude...her service as a witness was hostile, there were patrons that sat very near, one growled like an animal the whole time and one man was on his phone and cursed loudly the whole time I was there. The food was mediocre, I didn't eat much of it and gave me indigestion. Would never recommend anyone who is not from this area if St Louis EVER eat at this place. My experience was awful.

Family of 4 went on a Sunday. The food was soo good. I got the Lasagna and my husband got a penne spicy dish. Both kids got fettuccine Alfredo. We also got the cheesecake. That dessert was THE BEST cheesecake I have ever had.

My go to place for predictably delicious food. The staff is very friendly and efficient. My only complaint is they stopped including salad with the price of your meal, except for lunch time, the salad is now separate. And unfortunately, the interior is getting a little rough and worn looking, BUT that doesn't affect their delicious food ❤️
