We always eat pasta when we come to the lou. Best place ever. Only thing I can find to complain about is it was so hot I had to let it cool before eating.

The Republic Limited
This is one of my favorite Pasta Houses to go to. I have been coming here since I was a kid and I would usually get the chicken fettuccine Alfredo but now that I'm older I prefer the fettuccine with chicken livers. The tiramisu is so delicious and I always save room for it and take the rest of the pasta home for some tasty cold leftovers. This particular restaurant used to be a road house when route 66 went through. It's been around and added on to since the 30s I think.

We love this pasta house, weve been coming for ages and the workers know my family. We go there a lot after church and it’s wonderful to feel so accommodating despite our usual large group numbers!
My wife and I are up from Pontotoc, MS on vacation and visiting with family. We came by after the Cardinals game today for an early dinner. We were both hot, tired, and my wife was ill because my team beat the Cardinals.
Well I have to say, Monica turned all of that around quickly. She sold us on the meal for two, she anticipated our needs, and was a total rockstar with everyone she waited on. Not just us. Don't lose her under any circumstances. I've managed in retail, manufacturing, and the food industry for 25 years now. I wouldn't hesitate to give her a store of her own to manage based off of what I saw today.

Affton PHC does not care about carryout customers. The last few times we ordered the salad was inedible (old and soggy). Always forget part of order, specifically rolls. I paid for extra this time and received none.

That salad? Still that girl—fresh, zesty, and just hits right. I had the shrimp alla Griglia, and baby, it did not disappoint. Juicy shrimp, buttery garlic vibes, and pasta that knew what it was doing.
It’s giving old-school comfort with a lil’ grown-up flavor. No complaints—just full and satisfied.
