This place is definitely a hidden gem. Very good quality Italian cuisine. The owner and staff are excellent. I love how the restaurant is upscale, but still maintains a home style feel. Food is amazing. Our waiter, Dan, took great care of us. Owner was walking around talking to each table. I got the veal meatloaf and wife got the eggplant parmesan. Both really good. If you like mushrooms, you need to get the wild mushrooms as one of your sides. Finished the meal off with a shot of their house-made limoncello. Easily the best limoncello we've had. Would give 6 stars if I could.
Peno is fantastic. A hidden gem in Clayton area. We shared their arancini as an appetizer.
I had eggplant Parmesan and my husband had the veal Parmesan meatloaf. But holy cow, the drinks are delicious. Delicious try their Limoncello spritz!! We will be back!
