Even at 8:30 on a Monday morning, the selection was great. The woman at the counter was patient and helpful, willing to answer questions and offer suggestions. The doughnuts were reasonably priced. There is limited seating, so our family took the doughnuts to go. They were everything you want in a doughnut, light and fluffy inside with a bit of a bite. The frosting was very good, the caramel frosting being a family favorite.
Kid-friendliness: There was a large selection of doughnuts with sprinkles, which always garner high marks from our children.

Sunday 1/5/25 between 7am-7:45am I arrived at pharaohs donuts. Customer service here is great every time I go here. However this morning the lady that took my order customer service and attitude wasn’t so pleasant . She ask for my order from the back of the store which I refused to do because I didn’t want to have to yell it out to her. I ask could she separate my donuts with the wax paper because my wife is allergic to chocolate which I ended up doing myself because she didn’t properly do it. I also witness spit coming out of her mouth because of her yelling as she was communicating with another employee as it feel on to other donuts. Again this place is great I just think that this particular employee needs some ethics training.

Service rude, place run down & dirty. Donuts just okay, they are very greasy. Love to support STL local business and minority businesses but the attitude of service counter employee just turned me off to supporting them and how the kitchen work area looks dirty was another turn off. I’m confused by all the great reviews of this place….

Holy. Moly. These were the most delicious donuts I have ever had in my almost 50 years of life. I simply cannot believe the glory that is Pharoahs Donuts. I had a simple glazed donut, and I almost cried as I bit into it. Lovely.

This morning, when I went to buy my donuts, I encountered a lady named "Sister" who had a very indifferent attitude. It was my first time there, and instead of explaining that she would put my glazed donut in a separate bag, she let me leave without the thirds donut that I had paid for. When I called to inquire about the missing donut, I received a rude response, with the person saying that I could only get the donut if "Sister" was working the next day. My concern is that if I were providing a service and a customer left without receiving it, I would make sure to address the situation and not make the customer feel responsible for the mistake.

Stopped by St. Louis downtown corner of Pine and 9th at Pharaohs Bakery, grabbed some donuts, they were delicious!! This young lady was a sweetheart, sorry forgot your name but not your kindness! We were far from our home in NJ but enjoyed this vacation treat. Highly Recommend!
