I used to love this place when it opened. Delicious food, amazing service. Service was a big part of that rating. Last three times I came the service has been miserable... No enthusiasm , barely speak English, no checkbaback. I love Vietnamese food, but I'm sorry, I don't speak Vietnamese, and if I have to use a translator to order food or ask about it, it's not a restaurant I want to go to. They also started using thin, plastic soup spoons for pho, dollar store napkins, and dollar store water cups. This is not a restaurant, this is the Vietnamese version of Jack in the box. Embarrassing.

The staff was very nice while we were eating and the food was yummy, but as we were paying, our original bill for two of us (one drink, one meal each), was 46$. Then when we asked her to split the bill we were both charged 30$. Not sure why that happened and when my friend attempted to ask she was cut off so we just payed and went.
I’ve been here 3 days in a row. The first day I had take out, the next 2 I dined in. I might just make it 4. Service was great & fast !! The Pho is PLENTY & fulfilling!! Also the dumplings are delishhhh !! I’m going to try to egg rolls next !!!

Man what a lunch I’ve had today. The waitress was so sweet and hard working she got to us very quickly and had no problem with getting us extra napkins and water. Inside was very small but plenty of room but you can most definitely smell the rich aroma coming from the food! Our spring rolls were delicious and it was big enough to make it filling. But the #22 was absolutely delicious man what can i say something bad about it. The rice was amazing and has great seasoning and the chicken is fried and it came out crispy, juicy and well seasoned! Went here for lunch and man this single experience made my whole day and was definitely worth it! I’ll be back!

I can't rate the food or atmosphere...but service I am going to rate 1 star because I am tired of every time I order food from here they cancel it. Either stay off DoorDash as an option or keep your menus properly updated. Been wanting to try the food from here for awhile but am always stuck at work so chose for delivery. Forget it at this point though.

I traveled to St. Louis and very happy to find a Vietnamese or Asian restaurant under name Phoenix Cafe. I ordered Pho and Bun Bo that I crave. Before that I didn’t expect much because of small restaurants. But I really surprised because the flavor is very delicious, rich and right taste that I love. The woman staff who I think she is business owner, is so friendly and nice.
