Pickleman’s in the Central West End is proof that great food is only made better by an amazing team. The staff here truly makes the experience — friendly, fast, and always ready with a smile (and sometimes even a recommendation that ends up being your new favorite).
Whether you’re stopping in for a steaming bowl of their delicious soup or one of their fantastic, fresh-made sandwiches, you can’t go wrong. It’s the kind of place where you feel welcome the second you walk in, and you leave already thinking about what you’ll order next time.
If you’re in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and make this your lunch (or dinner) stop — Pickleman’s will take care of the rest.

Club sandwich was pretty good. I should've requested my sourdough to be toasted. Also did not come with mayo, but they gladly supplied me with some upon request.

I’ve ordered from Pickles Deli twice, and neither experience left a positive impression.
The first time was in store. I got a sandwich that was overpriced and bland. Overall a forgettable experience.
The second more recent time was when my workplace ordered lunch. I got a sandwich and salad combo. The sandwich was fine, but the salad was gritty, and the lettuce clearly hadn’t been washed well (see photo). There were even some old, wilted pieces mixed in.
I would NOT recommend this restaurant. You can get a similar quality sandwich at a cheaper price at the Panera/Bread Co down the street.

Had this catered in for work one time. The sandwiches were low quality and I would never spend money on them. There are lots of good sandwich shops to go to, I will not come here.

This is my go to place for lunch. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Always making suggestions and taking care of what I need. The manager here is so kind and gives some of the best customer service.
Now the food. One of the best French dip sandwich’s I’ve ever had. Finally decided to try another sandwich and got the Pickle’s club. Also fantastic. They made it hot on the grill for me and it took it to the next level. If you’re in the area for lunch or breakfast make sure you stop in. Super fast service and amazing food. I’ll keep coming back again and again.
Amazing pastrami sandwich!
One of the best pastrami sandwiches I've ever had!
Best pastrami of all time
Oh, how I love this place. I always get the Italian sandwich with the crisp sweet pickles and extra sauce/dressing. Most time I get the gooey cookie because I love chips and cookies with my sandwich. This is one of the best sandwiches. I was there on Saturday and the gentleman that greeted me and took my order provided great service.
