We drove in from Tulsa. This is a horrible place to eat. Don’t waste your time. Olive Garden is more Italian than this place. Bread must be from Walmart. Absolutely horrible. Rude waiter.

Terrible service, TERRIBLE food. They sit you so close to other tables you can hear their conversations. Food was absolutely horrendous. We ordered the Pasta Rosa. The salad was wilted.

As a past employee, I can tell you it feels like the clientele hasn’t changed in the past 20 years (feels more like a banquet hall at a retirement home than a restaurant). Food is alright, but you can definitely find better on the Hill. Last time I went here with my folks and in addition to the rude service, the portions were lacking as apparently they think seven fries counts as a side.

This place has been providing classic St. Louis style Italian food for over 50 years and shows no sign of slowing down. They are on their third generation of ownership. It's an incredible achievement.

I worked here in the 90s and I'm still treated like family when I show up. The Iovaldis are genuinely good people, St. Louis is lucky to have them.

Get the Bob Burns special, a house salad and a side of cavatelli and you're good to go.

We stopped in for supper on our way home from Branson. We've visited many, many times. Pietro's is our favorite place on the Hill...not to mention one of our favorite restaurants no matter where it is! Great food, great service and will not drain your wallet! Salads are great...get the house dressing!!!

I had a wonderful dinner at Pietro's with some friends. They quickly seated our group of 7 with no problem. Every single person was awesome. The food was fantastic. I had ravioli with meat sauce, it was a very large portion. I had enough leftovers for 2 more meals. I will definitely go back!

I've been going here for eons - often for banquets and often with my late grandfather's railroad club Christmas party. Lately, I've been doing mostly carryout out to my folks. Chicken Pietro, Beef Bordelaise, Soto, spaghetti, cavatelli, pastas.... All delicious, consistently, for decades. Here, you can get an all-inclusive beef supper for under $30 in a nice atmosphere. What else is there to say? We are very lucky to have these excellent, affordable family-owned Italian restaurants here in St. Louis.

A great Italian restaurant with great fresh pasta, the combination appetizer (toasted ravioli, fried artichoke, fried spinach balls, and fried zucchini) that was just as delicious! I'm going back when I visit St. Louis again!
