This place is always great for my favorite drink, a dirty chai latte, and has other new takes on old favorites. Today I stopped by and had the blueberry muffin which was AMAZING. Not too sweet, not messy, good clean flavors, the best blueberry muffin I’ve had anywhere. I’ve had their macrons and they were not good, but will always return for this chai and blueberry muffin.

My absolute favorite coffee spot! Pipers offers the CUTEST seasonal drinks that are all delicious! Great study spot as well.

really wanted to like this little coffee shop right by my house and have given it several shots but the coffee is very mid and no one is ever friendly…I have also heard from multiple people that they don’t treat/pay their employees well

Pipers Tea & Coffee is a quaint, bougie little gem in South St. Louis. Big city attitudes for no reason in an unfailingly midwestern shop. Very cutesy. Inauthentic. Great lighting. Drinks and pastries are delicious. I appreciate the woke artwork showcasing “diverse” artists and depictions of worldly travels, as well as the impromptu unsolicited English lesson provided to me by one of the olderly employees 🥰.
I wholeheartedly agree with many of the reviews here that the employees should be compensated more GENEROUSLY. ❤️ Depending on who you are and what you look like, it might not be evident just how SERIOUSLY they take their role in this line of work, with several really trying their best to look like they are working hard.
Then there are the few to whom being kind and genuine to others in the community comes so effortlessly that I have to wonder if their gifts are being recognized at all by the management in this place.
In addition to higher wages, wellness or SEL resources might encourage some of these people to pursue more humbling life experiences in addition to simply impostering pictures of them up on their wall and marketing trendy disingenuous “inclusivity” energy (not sure if this was meant to be ironic or not; if so, nice work 💯 ) with unwelcoming looks on their faces.
Great damn cup of coffee though! Looking forward to my next visit to Quick Trip for subpar coffee and positive community interactions.

Coffee is great. Service is a bit weak, typically on weekends (busy or not). Daily trip during the week is always awesome, no sure why I bother on Sundays anymore. Pastries look great, I’ve yet to try them though.

Simple selection but interesting flavors and a very relaxing vibe. The Cider chai is a must get.

Pipers has the best London Fog we have ever tried! I got the pistachio vanilla iced latte with oat milk (a seasonal drink) and my sister got the London fog. So so yummy. Some of the best coffee I think I’ve ever had. The girl who was working was so nice and beautiful. Will be coming back next time im in paducha!

The great drinks and atmosphere is highly reduced by some of the worst service I’ve ever had. Without exaggerating, it took over 25 minutes for our drinks to come out and had to ask for the missed one that never made it to the counter. One of the baristas was clearly new and didn’t know how to make anything. And the other was rude and continuously texted during and after every drink he made. We did accidentally spill a drink and when we notified the staff they gave us the rags to clean it ourselves with no offer to replace the drink or even pretend to help clean the mess. Great drinks but I would only recommend going when you have 45 minutes from ordering to the door.

Wish we had gotten there sooner for seating, but the experience was still great. Loads of individual people so love I said, most seating was taken, but we loved the tea and will be back.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast on the way to Tower Grove farmers market. The cafe is tucked into the corner of an industrial complex on a one way street off the main thoroughfare. We found parking easily in the back and made our way inside. There was no line and the person at the counter greeted us with a big smile! They had a small case of pastries and a menu on the counter that we quickly perused. We ended up getting an iced mocha and iced vanilla latte as well as a blueberry muffin and peach pop tart (they have homemade pop tarts which we were super excited for) and found a seat at a bar height table by the front door where we could watch the traffic go by. They warmed up our snacks which was super sweet and both items were absolutely delicious! The blueberry muffin was supper soft and moist with the perfect amount of Blueberries and a crispy powdered sugar top. The peach poptart was so good my partner went back for a second one!! Both of our iced lattes were wonderful and flavors were well balanced and we thought they were well sized for the price as we were able to sip them awhile and play a game while there. Overall I definitely understood why so many people had recommended this cafe to me and would definitely visit more if we lived closer! The warm environment and delicious snacks were the perfect start to our morning

Parking: Street next to the cafe is one way with street parking but we found a small spot behind the building in an alley

I went for the first time and it was one of the best mochas I’ve had! Impressed with the size and space. Great light but still feels cozy. Plenty of people working and just a good vibe. I will be back.

Love this place and appreciate the workers, but it seems that new workers are not putting effort when they are making drinks. I understand you are new but atleast try to put some effort when making drinks. The drinks taste undone and like something is missing. Also can wearing glove be encouraged?
