I so love Planet Sub! one of the best sandwich shops around. Today was a disappointment. I had The Chicken Cesar salad made into a wrap. The filling is so good but unfortunately it was wrapped in an old tortilla wrap. Tortilla wraps are soft and not flakey and dry. if it is flakey then you know that it is old and it would be a good Idea NOT to use it. Not Cool. So I decided to eat it as a salad but the lettuces was brown. REALLY?? Ruined my entire lunch.
I often do not have time to run out for lunch and had been wanting a good wrap so I thought about Planet Sub. I had a break so I went to get that wrap I had been craving. Total disappointed. Lunch in the trash. I worked in food services for 15 years before my degree and I never served ANYTHING I would not eat or that was not fresh. You never know who you are serving. Some people may not know the differences when it come to tortilla wraps , but I do. When I took it out of the foil, the whole thing fell apart because the wrap was so dry and flakey. $$$ down the drain. The next time I come ( because I will not throw the baby out with the bath water) I will request fresh lettuces and wrap.

My favorite sandwich place in downtown St. Louis. Whenever I'm down here, I try to time it so I can grab lunch here. Personal favorites are the chicken club and tuna bacon club. Food is served warm from the oven and it's always clean. Friendly staff gets the food out quickly.

If I could order this every day for lunch I would. Better than any sandwich place I’ve had (and I’ve had a lot). It’s to the point my husband ask if I got Planet Sub for lunch everyday lol

After 6 years of being away from this place I can say it still the best sandwich I ever had when I was in high school my sister told me about the experience sandwich last time I was here it was 2018 I just came back in 2024 for a congrats meal to myself and I be damn it still tastes the same tbh even better then I remember from freshness of the sandwich, cookie and drink 😩 I swear I missssed this so much I can’t take a pic of my sandwich and cookie because it’s already gone lol

We met an owner when we came in with our kids. He was very accommodating of special dietary needs & a picky eater. The kids devoured their subs. For the adults, the sandwiches were tasty and filling but not too much.
