Very cool spot with tasty cocktails and bites. Was quiet when I was in there, but I’d imagine it’s a neighborhood favorite! Beautiful building!

This place is a throwback to classic drinks and magnificent food offerings. The bartenders are knowledgeable and will help you find the right drink for you or make you what you like. The bourbon and whiskey offerings are vast, and some are unique. I recommend Purgatory and The Last Word classic pre prohibition drinks that are remarkable, to say the least. It's a good spot for a date or just a place to grab a drink and small bites alone. My bartender was Jeff, his knowledge and love for his craft go above and beyond epic. If you happen to go tell him, Lamont sent you.
Enjoy!

Absolutely phenomenal cocktails and food. Love the whiskey cocktails especially, the burgers, the charcuterie, the burrata, and the fries.

I want to extend my deep gratitude to the great Hostess last Saturday afternoon who kindly went above and beyond her responsibilities not only as a host but as a human being by letting me (offering!) charge my lon foot and had a dead phone. It was about 4 pm and the place was slightly busy (almost outside full and inside) but not much else was around the area so my hunch and restaurant experience tells me they’re doing everything right: good food, good prices and good staff. The atmosphere is inviting, unpretentious and sort of a homey, cozy n stylish flair. I would’ve rather stayed and ate but thankfully the hostess helped me on my way. thank you for helping and not being annoyed when I asked for directions twice! (Also,

Had a reservation for 2 at 6pm on a Thursday but probably didn't need it though they did get busier after an hour or so. Ambience was awesome. Service warm and prompt. Cocktails were gorgeous and delicious. Olives and poutine were the best!

I've only ever had cocktails and snacks. It's a little pricier so I'm saving a meal for a special occasion. The cocktails are so good though. Thoughtfully crafted and truly delicious.

We have lived in STL 2 years and this is by far the best place for cocktails. The burger is so delicious as well.

One of the best bars in the Midwest and the country. Innovative, excellent service and food (and stellar fries). A visit here always leaves me very happy.

Like the decor and feel of this quaint place. Bar tenders were attentive and cocktail list was eclectic. Tried a few different cocktails and were balanced and tasty!

The former home of cocktail creator Jerry Thomas; the Planter's House former hotel entrance is filled with great drinks, spirits and most importantly people filled with the spirit of Jerry Thomas. The Gin Soaked Boy is a must try drink for anyone and the Back breaker is a fun runner up. Go out of your way to check this small bit of history out.-food was not purchased
