Super cozy and the wine fleets are a must! Food was on the pricier end, but service was excellent!

I recently hosted a work dinner at POP for about 40 people. Tyler was a wonderful event coordinator to work with and the folks at POP were so hospitable, taking every opportunity to say "yes" and get us what we needed.

Celebrated NYE at Pop Sparking wine bar and restaurant. This a quaint interesting food venue in Lafayette Square across from Lafayette Park. Part of the Baileys food family of restaurants. I experienced a champagne cocktail for a kickoff to the new year. Pop's offers board's, small, plates and large plates For dessert you can go upstairs to Bailey's Chocolate Bar desserts are not on the menu for Pop's. A new experience for my next food experience . I ordered the pheasant ragu, a large plate. Lynn ordered the brie small plate. For a food starter we had the brie cheese plate. All of the food was delicious. I forgot about pheasant being a small bird with small bones not too different from some fish you may order. This is an expected thing. Dinner at Pop's is not just a dinner but an pleasant event to experience Treat yourself to a special night.

Overeating is a life requirement at this tapas-style shareable menu spot, POP. One of everything please. Our stuffed peppers, cheese board, zucchini carpaccio, tomato tartare, fries and shrimp were exquisite and delicious! The champagne and bubbly selection is unmatched in St. Louis! From French finesse to Spanish flair, Italian charm, American spirit, and beyond, the sparkling bar embraces the global effervescence. And dessert is right upstairs at Bailey's Chocolate Bar!

I went to POP because they were hosting a fundraiser for a early childcare center. Some proceeds of the meal would be dedicated to that organization. I am thrilled POP hosted the event. It is a lovely restaurant to dine for a evening out. The space is on the first floor of the building. The second level is Baileys Chocolate Bar. I requested one of their cocktails without alcohol. I enjoyed the Pear drink but did not love it with Elderflower liqueor in it. I started with a plate of parmesan frites If your meal does not come with a side of fries. l would recommend you order them as an appetizer. The steak met expectations and the potted crab pleasantly surprised me. The host and all those I interacted with could not have been any kinder.

Want to have a glass of wine, bubbly or dessert just on a whim and happen to be passing by Lafayette Square. This is a wonderful, quaint and sexy out of the way local bar I'd recommend trying.Another hurrah for David Bailey! One (I mean 2 in 1) of his 9 Bailey's restaurant's!Kudos for this young man who made St. Louis his home and has change the restaurant scene!!POP & The Chocolate Bar offer food PopHas their menu from 5pm to 9pm! So, if you walk in on the main level, you walk into Pop! And upstairs is the Chocolate Bar!POP VS Chocolate BarChampagne bar and elegant apps. Hidden is the patio!ExteriorPop has a lovely outdoor "warm weather month" patio! I actually visited during a rain storm when the weather was close to 100 degrees and it felt marvelous and secluded (think Secret Garden)!!InteriorPicture a chic atmosphere with music from Sammy Davis, younger Aretha Franklin & the song track from Sleepless in Seattle. Chocolate BarThe upstairs (almost secret) bar has been revitalized after a flood 2-years ago. My first time at the restaurant, I believe I reviewed. Now it's a wide open upstairs dining area with quaint bar area and dining room. I did not look at the menu.StaffFriendly and ready to assist with menu selection. The chef will speak with you (if enough time). The manager/bartender will gladly walk you through the menu. This establishment is perfect for a couple or a night out for friends or family.I noticed tables full of tech guys, professional women just wanting to catch up, families and like myself singles just out on a rainy night!FutureI'm told that soon the menu is changing to add a few more vegetarian options and less hearty fall type meals so lighter summer fare is included! My taste:I decided to order a couple small plates and beverages. (See photos). The zucchini carpaccio ($10)dish would have been much more phenomenal if filled with lemon vinaigrette, etc and it was tasty. I rolled it. The app would have been more delicious with more vinaigrette! The stuffed peppers ($12) were very tasteful and reminded me of a Fall dish! I wanted to start shopping because it truly reminded me of fall! A kiss and a hug from a loved one.I choose a couple drinks and was happy! House red wine and the Black Currant ($12). Perfect for the dishes I'd chosen.I'll definitely be back because the menu is being updated and I saw too many dishes I'd like to try and I'd like to do dessert as well!Join me! /////I'd placed 20 photos in the review but the app is having issues still and only one photo is showing. I've deleted all the gorgeous photos from my phone already. It's happened with a few of my reviews now.

Went in for a drink. The bartender said she couldn’t serve our group of 8 because we were too big? There was an open 8 top right in front us. I guess it’s not really a bar and more of a restaurant. Weird move to not allow people to drink at your bar on a Saturday. Planters house is down the street we will just go there next

I only stayed for one cocktail -- cucumber -- but it was light and refreshing. The space is small but cozy. Great for a date night drink or two.

Stopped in for a quick, late night drink. The staff was really friendly and accommodating, very gracious for arriving about 15/10min before close on a Thursday.

Cute place. Went here for the first time tonight with my two other friends/coworkers. This ace parking is street parking. Since today is Friday night, therefore busy, I have to park about one block away. This place is great. The service is very prompt. The server he check in on us very often. The food is qreat. The fries are cook just right, crispy and soft on the inside. The cheese player are great. The drinks are great. There are options from sweet to dry drinks.
