Placed an order for mere 3 tenders and showed up there 10 minutes later, around 10:20am and was told that they are closed and to come back in “like 1-2 hours” and that she is the only one there where you can see many of them inside. When I asked about my refund, she slammed the window in my face and walked away. when I called she picked up and said she is the manager. What kind of people are really willing to work at Popeyes? Can’t they get decent people to work for them? How can we trust these people with handling out food?

If you’re craving fast food, congratulations you’ve found the slowest place in town! Bring a book, maybe two, because you’ll be waiting 45–55 minutes for your “quick” meal. Honestly, you could drive to New Orleans and back before your chicken is ready.
The online menu? Pure fiction. It’s like they’re running a guessing game: “What will we be out of today?” Spoiler alert—it’s always something you actually wanted. Order online, and then enjoy the fun surprise when half your meal doesn’t exist.
And let’s not forget the drive-thru experience. It’s less “grab and go” and more “park and pray.” Multiple reviews say the same thing: wrong orders, missing items, and staff who act like you’re inconveniencing them by asking for what you paid for.
Bottom line: If you love disappointment served with a side of cold fries, this is your spot. Otherwise, save yourself the agony and go literally anywhere else.

I recently contacted customer service regarding my two orders that were placed online for pick up. One order was given to me incorrectly and was incomplete, and I never received the other order. The guy at the window was rude rushing me as I tried telling him my order then he goes to say that they are closing despite it being 10:50pm the store hours are 10am-1am. I waited an hour till I finally said something just to find out that they hadn’t even started my orders. They ended up throwing a bunch of stuff a bag that I did not order, so I asked for a refund for the other order because I wasn’t going to wait another hour. I was told I could only get online for my refund which I still haven’t received.

I also want to mention that no one on the website has been able to help me, there is no way to contact an actual human to resolve this issue and I do not have an account or email linked to my orders. All of my orders were placed online through the website. I just have screenshots of the order numbers and receipts.

The service at this location is abysmal. Staff are inattentive and don’t give answers. There is no reason that someone should wait 40 minutes for an order at a fast food restaurant. When asked questions about the delay, the staff ignored us. The food was cold by the time we got it. I don’t understand. I do not recommend going here. Choose a different location!!!

I am sick to my stomach of living in this world where the is no accountability. It makes me froth with rage what is represented as a business and then whatis deliverd to you as a customer. How is it possible to make someone waite an hour and a half for fast food. Bayless os one of the worst food areas in Saint Louis, I'm convinced.

I REALLY dislike that I have to leave a negative review! I was there yesterday afternoon.. I waited over 30 minutes for some damn chicken! It was dry as hell.. I ate 2 pieces of a family meal!! We live an hour away.. so when we get a chance we get Popeyes! They were out of a lot of food.. our dogs enjoyed it though!! We even gave people some.. I sincerely love chicken!! The biscuits were the ONLY good thing!! We
Will NEVER come back to this location! We should’ve went to church’s.. like we planned!! It was on our way home!!

Drive thru here takes longer than a sit down restaurant, even when ordering common items that should be ready at dinner time. I strongly recommend against visiting this location.

5 people working in the store, well 5 people on the clock, 1 working washing ditches and 1 cleaning the floor, 1 walking around being pretty and the other 2 eating in the back while I’ve been waiting for 30 mins to get my order. Btw is just 2 sandwiches.

waited 25 minutes outside for take out order. Went inside to get food and was ignored while they filled door dash orders. So mad that i left. Popeye's basically stole from me. No complaint phone number. DO NOT go here!

No line at Drive-thru: Old, dry chicken and tenders. Received cold fries instead of rice and beans, out of coke, and Diet Coke…just bad and sad. Won’t be going back.

Whenever k have to DoorDash here I dread it. The staff is so rude!!! I have only doordashed here three times. The first time it took them an hour and 15 minutes to bring out the order and the only reason I stayed was because they kept assuring me that there was only gonna be a couple more minutes. The second time it took them 35 minutes to bring out the order and today it took them 30 minutes to bring out the order. This is absolutely ridiculous. They should shut down the whole building.
