I’m going to start my EXPERIENCE off with the kicker: I HAVEN’T EVEN DINED HERE YET! 😤 So, on yesterday I created a birthday dinner reservation at this restaurant. Mind you, they charge $10/person for reservations. Therefore, I decided to call this morning just to verify because I have a large party! This entire incident occurred today between 11am and noon! An unprofessional African American girl answered the phone. I politely told her that I made a reservation online last night and I just wanted to confirm they saw it on their end. She responds, “yes we have the reservation!” I said, well don’t you need my name or phone number??? She says, yes what’s your number? I give her my number. After a short dramatic pause, she states, yes we have your reservation. Still not convinced that she properly confirmed, I asked, okay what day is the reservation for? She says, the 9th. I said, ma’am, I don’t have a reservation for the 9th! She proceeds to ask for my last name. I gave it to her. After another dramatic pause, she says, yes we got you down. Still not convinced, I asked, for what time? She says, just a second let me pull it back up!! JUST LYING! At this point I’m over it! So I ask if she can put me on the phone with a manager! This girl claims she’s a manager! I said, let me speak to someone else besides you because I want to file a complaint! I’m only calling to confirm a reservation and she was making it extremely difficult. She continues to claim that there is no one else in the entire restaurant I can speak to and started demanding me to call at 5:30! I said no, let me speak to someone NOW! Then she proceeds to hang up on me! Of course, I called back! I asked for her name, she wouldn’t give it to me and hung up AGAIN! So I call back! After 3 attempts of calling with no answer, I called again and a “crew member named Ashley” picks up the phone (after the so called manager said I couldn’t speak to anyone else). I asked Ashley if I can speak to a manager to file a complaint. Ashley claims that her “manager” went to the bathroom but she can write down my name and put it at the bar! I ended up just getting off the phone because at this point, I am furious and don’t even want to talk to anyone on that shift! I’m going to try to call back later this evening to give this place the benefit of the doubt and see if I can speak to a real professional! Tonight, we’ll see if I will dine with them for my bday or if I will be canceling my reservation and taking my PARTY OF 8 elsewhere! What I do know that if Prime 55 is smart, they will not allow this girl to answer their phones let alone speak to their guests period!!! People like her are legit downfalls to businesses! If I wasn’t so understanding in knowing that there is ALWAYS at least one bad apple in every bunch, I would’ve canceled without a second thought. But I will hopefully be speaking with someone different this evening and hopefully they will be offering some type of accommodation that will make me still want to patronize them! We’ll see and I will most certainly post the outcome!

They were out of an appetizer on the menu. That didn't bother me as much. However I was able to finish my drink before my food arrived, it took longer than I expected or have ever experienced especially with such a small menu selection. Once my food was brought out no utensil was given to me for over twenty minutes. By the time I received them my food was cold. They offered a alcoholic beverage to accommodate the inconvenience. Lastly I asked for medium rare steak it was burnt.
The food was very overpriced for what we got nothing unique about it. The same sauce that was used on our appetizers was used on the salmon. The other issue was there was no soap in the bathroom when we let staff know they gave us hand sanitizer until the soap was refilled ok. When my husband went to use the restroom later on the soap still wasn't refilled. This did not sit well with us we won't be back it was my husband's birthday and I felt bad that I had selected this establishment to celebrate with him.
I really enjoyed my first visit to Prime 55! The hostess and our waitress were outstanding! The turkey burger I ordered was smaller than I expected but served its purpose nonetheless. It was tasty and seasoned well. The buffalo cauliflower bites are a must! I repeat a must! I never knew a vegetable of any kind could taste so good! I'm kidding. I love vegetables, but the bites were exceptional. The atmosphere was family-friendly and would also be a great place for a date night. Now, the only reason they don't get 5 stars from me in the food category is the slice of carmel cake I ordered was very tasty but small for what it cost. I will definitely be back, and hopefully, I am seated in Chrissy' section. She was the absolut best!

We had 3 orders of lamb chops and requested sauce on the side. All 3 orders came with sauce on them and I guess the manager didn't care our order were not made correctly when we said something. It took extremely long to get our food. Our server maddie was on top of our every request even with serving several tables.
Parking: Street parking at a meter.

Had a reservation with a paid deposit and had to wait 45 minutes. Once seated was informed they wouldn’t do separate checks and they didn’t want to give back the deposit. Absolutely horrible customer service. Trying to support minority businesses but not when they giving trash service.

Service was 100% bad! I didn't read the reviews because I saw the menu on line and came right over. The paper menu I got in the restaurant was nearly different. My food arrived and I waited 3 min before someone walked back over for me to ask for silverware. Took another 3 min or so to get it...I had to ask again. I would NEVER patronize this place again.

This was a disappointing experience. Many of the food options that were on the menu, were not available on the evening of our visit. As out-of-town guests, this felt disappointing. The food wasn't great, and the waitress was stretched thin between too many tables, which seemed stressful for them. The staff seemed annoyed when we asked for simple items such as coffee and were told we had to go into the hotel for it. It was an underwhelming experience.
Great food and drinks

Classic bait and switch guys. Well done. Turns out the Delmar location is NOT what it says on the website, "beautifully appointed restaurant featuring a full bar and full menu" and "craft cocktails" ended up being a limited menu, no bartender, no craft cocktails, no pinot noir (in fact, only 1 red wine to choose from), setting was a tiny cafe with 7 tables. "perfect date-night worth eatery, with its upscale vibes and inviting music" - upscale? music was pop radio. We felt sorry for our server, Erica, who was running her butt off to serve most of the tables, play bartender and hostess. The stuffed salmon was okay, a bit flavorless. Shrimp and grits were tasty but shrimp was overcooked. So much for a surf and turf dinner at a swanky restaurant for our out of town girls' trip.
