I am a fan of Rated Test Kitchen! No complaints! Chef JR is an amazing chef. Bri has amazing customer service. The spirit staff does great with cocktails. And all the sous chefs are polite and welcoming. If you are local or visiting Rated Test Kitchen should be on your list.

I went for Sunday brunch during the 1pm seating with my bestie. We'd been looking forward to trying this restaurant for some time and finally got in on the fun. Brunch is four courses and we added the drink pairing for a full experience. For starters our waitress handled my food allergies with ease as well as the bartender. I ended up with a peach Bellini as my first drink due to a pineapple allergy and my drink was delicious and not too sweet. The Cajun biscuits and gravy were so delectable and a great way to start the experience. It was filling with nice textures that complimented. Second course was the French toast with cereal whipped milk cream and fresh fruit. It was good, I would have preferred a slightly thicker slice of toast. But the toast had a buttery, salty flavor to contrast the sweetness of the topping so it worked well together. Course 3 was divine as well. I absolutely love potato latkes and this was also a very tasty pairing of traditional breakfast items. The eggs were super fluffy which I appreciate because I don't like hard scrambled eggs but I enjoyed these. The green goddess dressing and fried garlic topping all played well together. Finally to finish off the meal we had a sesame olive oil cake with a spiced pear and amaretto meringue topping. Plus 24K gold garnish because, why not?! The crumb was delicate and the colorful and sweet pear provided a beautiful visual and taste contrast. I can't wait to visit again for the 7 course dinner sitting. Check out Rated TK if you're in the downtown area. Oh, and you MUST have reservations. It's a cute but small space for dining.

Went back to rated test kitchen for date night for chapter 3. Absolutely amazing! So many new things to try for me and my boyfriend loved it as well. Everyone that works there is so sweet and personal and comes around to ask what you'd like to see, how they can improve, and if you need any accommodations. The food is amazing and perfectly cooked (I tried octopus for the first time and said I was shocked it wasn't chewy; I've since had people tell me that means it was cooked perfectly!). Such an amazing experience every time I come!

Rated Taste Kitchen was an amazing experience. The food was great. The service was awesome and the presentations were on point. I loved that Chef JR took the time to talk to each customer to gather feedback. Everyone was nice and extremely professional. I can't wait to go back.

I treated my cousin & bestfriend to brunch after church on Sunday. We absolutely loved the entire experience. The customer service, friendliness and attentiveness of the staff was excellent. The presentation, quality, and taste of the food and drinks was 5 stars across the board. The mixologist and Chef Juwan came out to check on us which was an added touch. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning to try dinner. They got it right!!!

It was an amazing experience and I loved everything minute of it and the employees were all super nice. Definitely recommend for date night!

We went for the 3 course Valentine's Day dinner. Everything was exceptional from the time we walked in. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, food was amazing, and chef came out and met with each couple at the end. We also did the drunk pairing and it was fabulous.

Great evening diner with 7 courses. I don't like to try very many new foods so this was a stretch for me. I ended up loving every course they served. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is solely based on their lack of communication and sympathy for an issue that arises on their part.I booked an experience with them excited to visit. This was a surprise for my spouse so I contacted them via email, instagram, phone, AND open table app ahead of time, to which I received no response. Then less than 24 hrs before our reservation they messaged on the open table app stating there was a busted pipe and had to cancel my reservation. I understand things happen but at least offer some sort of incentive for customers to rebook. We were coming from 3hrs away, paid for a sitter, set up this whole experience as a surprise just for them to bare little to no remorse in their cancellation. Very bad communication.

Chef JR and his team have an excellent space and experience to go along with it. We enjoyed the tasting menu last night and love the countertop seating. It was like a community table with a clear view of the prep area. The food was excellent and well worth the cost. Our favorite courses in order were flamed pulpo (can’t get tired of eating this), Gullah port, and field masa. The tupa taco was great but I’m not a big fan of lamb and it was very messy to eat.JR came and introduced himself and asked about our favourites. I realized our server wasn’t telling us what we were having so I eavesdropped to overhear what the other server was saying. That would be my only constructive feedback.Otherwise an excellent execution of JR and his team’s creativity. Thank you!

Very enjoyable experience, excited to go back. I have 3 major food allergies and they were happy to accommodate and paid close attention to things that needed to be substituted even when it came to contact. My husband is an executive Chef and we have really struggled finding a place in stl that has unique and complex flavor profiles on thier dishes..this place checks all the boxes. Can't really say I've had a better culinary experience, this place makes you want to step out of your box if you are a picky eater and explore flavors/foods/textures you may usually avoid. It's such a great concept and I'm sure it's something STL didn't know it was missing until now that it's here.Dietary restrictions: I have a seafood/shellfish and mushroom allergy they were happy to accommodate.Parking: For the 6pm multi course dinner on a Saturday night we did not have to pay for parking

First time here and didn't disappoint. Great people and phenomenal food. Each course was very flavorful and seasoned perfectly. The place is small yet you get to see every detail that goes into plating the food. Loved that the owner/chef (Jr.) made his way to everyone...we learned that he is a self trained chef who got his base from watching his grandmother cook. We were here for brunch, which is a 4 course meal and we had plenty of food. To my understanding, dinner is 7 course meal. The menus change monthly.
