I often drive a 120 mile round trip just for the salad!

The appetizers were pretty good. I got the garlic cheese bread and although it was quite good, the garlic tasted like garlic powder and not fresh garlic cloves. The salad would have been great if it wasn’t soaked in dressing, which made all the lettuce really soggy. The main dishes were good, we had fettucini, Alfredo and lasagna. The tiramisu was very good. Our server was attentive and friendly. It was quite a bit more expensive than I remembered, but the portions are huge!

Love the house salad. Order it a lot for carry out. I guess it depends on who’s working? It’s a big salad good for a couple meals or a few people but never enough bread. Tonight I got 1/2 loaf ? And 3 butters. Be consistent.

My husband and I came here for our 9 year anniversary and almost left before ordering. Sabrina started the save of our business by providing excellent customer service after we experienced extremely poor customer service from the young hostess. First the young hostess attempted to sit us in a loud, busy section of the restaurant so we asked if we could sit on the other side where it was much more quiet and enjoyable. She agreed but stated we would have to wait for a table to open up. We agreed and waited approximately 10 minutes which was no problem. The hostess then tried to sit us at a table and when we requested a booth seating she just simply said none were available even though there were clearly a couple empty booths available in that area. The upsetting part of that was she didn't even offer us the option to wait for a booth to open, she made it seem like the table was the only option and walked away. When approached by the server Sabrina we explained the situation and she immediately sat us at an empty booth and apologized. Then our assigned server Ashley continued to provide excellent customer service turning our poor experience into a wonderful one. So thank you Sabrina and Ashley for making our anniversary dinner an exceptional experience!

My only complaint about the atmosphere was they seated us next's table a very loud women who kept laughing very very loud and my daughter and I couldn't hear each other there were lots of other tables available. I suppose I could have asked to be moved.

Rich and Charlie's is OK. Two of my dinner companions ordered low carb dishes, both chicken dishes (served with no pasta, and we fully knew that when we ordered), Chicken Tuscany and Chicken Emil. Both dishes were bland and served in too much weak sauce. More like broth. We didn't expect a rich, velvety sauce indeed but these dishes lacked for seasoning. They were bland and messy to eat. Our table service was very good.

Although the food is pretty good, the way they run the business ruins things for me. When you pay with a card or online, the credit fees are deducted from the servers' tips. Instead of paying the fees out of the millions the restaurant makes per year (per their website), they take it from the servers who they pay less than $7 per hour. They are not forthcoming with this when hired among other things. They don't even give any discounts or benefits to their employees either. I will not support them and encourage you to spend your money elsewhere.
