My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - "A Taste of Tradition and Heart"Homestyle Service with a Smile: ?‍♂️From the moment we sat down, the attentive care of multiple servers ensured our glasses were never empty and our plates promptly served. The atmosphere, brimming with genuine hospitality, was a refreshing change from the usual dine-and-dash experience at busier spots. Every staff member seemed to carry a smile as warm as the dishes served.Charming, Time-Honored Decor: ??Stepping into Rigazzi's is like visiting an old friend. The classic Italian-American ambiance, complete with gingham tablecloths and vibrant red, white, and green accents, evokes a sense of nostalgia. Not to mention the sports memorabilia, like Marshall Faulk’s jersey, which adds a personal touch to the decor, rooting the restaurant firmly in its St. Louis heritage.Heartily Honest Food: ?️Contrary to whispers of "just okay" meals, Rigazzi's serves up dishes that are both hearty and heartwarming. The Chicken Mary and Chicken Florentina were ample, flavorsome, and offered at a price point that leaves you satisfied in more ways than one. It may not be haute cuisine, but it's comfort food that hits the spot every time. And let's not forget the legendary 32oz 'fishbowl' drinks—a fun, shareable gem that complements the lively dining experience.Reflecting on the Feast: ??Rigazzi's may carry a reputation among locals for being a tad old-fashioned, but it's this very charm that sets it apart. It doesn't aspire to be avant-garde; it excels at delivering a reliable, enjoyable meal in a setting that feels like a community gathering place.Final Thoughts: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - "Simple Satisfaction""For a night of no-frills, just good feels, Rigazzi’s is your go-to. More than just a meal, it’s like coming home."Rigazzi’s doesn’t just serve food; it serves up a slice of community life, rich with flavor and familial spirit. For anyone seeking a dining experience that feels as comfortable as Sunday dinner at Grandma’s, but with the added zest of a well-loved local hangout, make your way to Rigazzi's. ??

We came for lunch and found out after waiting for our food for quite some time that a cook had an emergency and had to leave. Making the kitchen short staffed. That is out of anyone's control, and we completely understood. However the food did come out Luke warm. The cheese in my pizza had melted but started to harden. The sauce on my son's chicken dish had begun to congeal, and it was all around just not good.

I went in to order lunch to take out. While I was waiting, I was given some bread and butter. That was nice and very unexpected. My lunch was great. I ordered pizza that came with two different pastas. It was easily two meals and I would order it again.

The waitress introduced herself by stating she was tired from being on her feet all day on a Saturday night. The meal went downhill from there. Tasteless tomato sauce was served with our toasted ravioli for an appetizer. My wife's eggplant parm was tasteless too served with the same bland tomato sauce. My lasagna was still cold in the middle with unmelted cheese like they didn't heat it enough after pulling it from the refrigerator. Not going back. Other places on the hill are much better.

Everything was good , when not busy don't like seated right on top of other people , hard to talk or interact with spouse . People next to loud and constantly talking when 2/3 rds of dining room empty 4 large table of people all set right next to each other in a cluster.
