Cute little coffeehouse with great breakfast options. The London fog latte was amazing.

Super cute location! Love the vibe of the place itself. I have had Rise on my list of local coffee shops to try in the St. Louis area for some time now! Unfortunately, my experience, along with the subpar cold brew, left a bitter taste in my mouth. I asked for a cold brew with chocolate milk. The barista just straight up told me no. She said she wouldn't serve it to me because "it won't taste good." I'm a barista myself - so this response just honestly confused me and made me uncomfortable. It was bizzare. I've never even thought to just refuse someone's drink because of my personal preferences. The whole encounter was beyond weird and a horrible start to my morning. I ended up just having to get a black cold brew. I took one sip and left it on my table. If you're visiting Rise coffee, make sure your coffee order is exactly what the barista drinks, or you're out of luck!

Such a nice gem right by SE Forest Park in the Grove. It was packed when I was there but the line went decently quick. A very welcoming environment for everyone, you will notice upon entering. The coffee was ok but the food was unreal. My girlfriend got the breakfast egg tacos and i got the Ricotta lemony toast. You must try this. Honestly order two pieces... it was that good. Would definitely recommend.

Really good coffee, super nice staff. I also ordered a yogurt parfait, it was pretty good. Fruit was really fresh! Breakfast tacos were just okay. The coffee is definitely the highlight of this place!

Rise is a wonderful little coffee shop! The interior is beautiful and the staff is always so kind. I love the egg biscuit sandwich and I recommend getting it with chipotle mayo to make it a little less dry. Their matcha isn't bad but their iced lavender latte is wonderful! They also have a lot of good study space on their second floor. Also their outdoor seating area is really cute with nice murals and tables, perfect for a casual lunch with a friend! Highly recommend it if you're looking for a cute study spot!

Love this coffee shop!! The baristas were so friendly and fun, and you can't go wrong with any drinks or pastries. My new fav is the iced oat milk vanilla latte. The decors inside is gorgeous too, perfect for a coffee date or a study session.

Instagram-worthy atmosphere, friendly baristas, quality coffee, and amazing food: The recipe for a perfect coffee house, and Rise has it all! You can't go wrong with any coffee on the menu, and their breakfast tacos are so damn good. I usually like sausage or bacon on my breakfast dishes, but the egg & potato mixture in these tacos is so magical, I didn't even miss a meat option.

Is Rise the friendliest coffee shop in St. Louis? Quite possibly. The staff are friendly, often singing along to whatever is playing, and no one is made to feel guilty for slinging out a laptop and getting to work.

Order: vanilla Latt with whole milk Pros: this is a cuteeeee coffee shop! The presentation of the vanilla late was amazing! &, I did not have to add raw sugar like I usually do at other spots! It was just right!! I will DEF be coming back. The ambiance is dope as well! They have upstairs and downstairs seating. Cons: none

Everything about this place is five stars! Right when you walk in, then have a giving wall. It's where someone has pre purchased a coffee and writes a note for anyone that needs reassuring, comfort or inspiration. Right under the giving wall there's a crate full of hats, gloves, and hot hands for anyone that needs some winter items to keep warm. The menu is amazing and the coffee is delicious! We already had breakfast plans so this trip we just got coffee. I ordered the lavender latte and was wowed with all the flavor that this coffee had. The staff was extremely friendly and the compassion this business shows has a lifelong customer. I can't wait to come back to try some food off their menu!

I've heard so much about Rise from friends and coworkers, so I was excited to finally give it a try. I had the mushroom biscuits and gravy with an over easy egg. It was probably one of the best vegetarian versions of biscuit and gravy I've ever had. A friend had a very simple breakfast biscuit sandwich that also looked pretty great looking. The place is so bright and colorful which makes it great for brunch. They have plenty of seating both up stairs, main floor, and outside, but seem to be busy often, with a very short wait. Very trendy and casual. The staff is welcoming and helpful with suggestions. Overall would definitely go again to try other foods! Happy Findings!

So glad that this was the first place I chose for breakfast for my weekend in St. Louis. Excellent sweet matcha latte and stellar avocado toast topped with a poached egg and plated so pretty with a cute cucumber heart ?Thinking I'll be stopping in again before the weekend is out.

I am a teacher at the local elementary school around the corner. I visit rise often, it’s my favorite. If I’m having a bad day, I walk to get my favorite iced vanilla latte with oatmilk; just the atmosphere calms me and fills my soul with happiness. The staff are always warm and kind and are always going the extra mile. I can always count on being greeted with a smile. Thank you for creating a safe and tranquil place for me to calm my mind in the chaos of what being a teacher is these days. Ricotta toast is bomb AF too!

Wow !! We are absolutely blown away by this place. We woke up early, tired from a late night and drove over to rise for a coffee. Little did we know, it also had amazing food and 10/10 ambiance. The baristas and cooks were all singing and exuding joy. The matcha latte was amazing. The vibe was warm and welcoming. Everything is compostable and sustainable. What more could you ask for!
