Pizza is actually really good restaurant quality stuff, and the beers were amazing. It’s a great place to sit outside with friends and have a drink and food.

The nice part is it’s right next to the tennis courts in the very awesome Francis Park. The issues are the food is of low snack bar level quality but often takes upwards of an hour, if you guys are actually cooking this food and not reheating from frozen you should be embarrassed because it’s barely passable to drunks. The beer is Rockwell, which to each their own, but is probably the worst of the many great local choices. I’d skip it unless you’re interested in grabbing drinks and playing a game of tennis/pickle. The beer and food can and should be skipped.

I came here with friends to grab a quick burger before seeing a show at the Muny. We ordered at 6:45. At 7:30 I went and talked to a manager and said we needed to go to the show which starts at 8:15. The manager went to the kitchen several times to talk to the staff and our food came out at 8:15. I sent my friends to the show and got the food, which we couldn't eat and had to leave in the car. They said they would refund our orders. My friend's order was refunded but mine was not. When I've been there before the food has been good but I have no idea why it took 1.5 hours to get a burger and fries, and then why they didn't refund me.

Cool spot. The overhead awnings helped with the heat. Clean and friendly staff at the drink shack. Not sure how people were playing tennis and pickle ball in that heat but god bless’um
