The experience was awkward and not impressive. We chose to eat outside due to the nice weather, the patio was nice. However the service team sat us at a picnic table without an open end (although the others were available that had open ends) so my brother in a wheel chair had to sit sideways. They were helping tables around us and didn't seem to notice us trying to get him comfortable. The entire service of our table they did not once ask him if he needed anything different. I've worked in service and I would have been able to tell this wasn't an ideal set up. They also never brought us or offered a high chair for our one year old so we held him the entire meal. They brought the table near us one. The server had A trainee, but he himself could not answer any questions directly. Anything we asked about the menu for instance (cousin is gluten free) he would have to go back and ask. So this delayed a lot of things. My cousin asked to have a gluten free crepe in place of a tortilla on the breakfast burrito, stating she understood she would not be able to eat it like a burrito. This confused both servers. They asked the kitchen, then came back and explained yes but it wont be edible like a burrito(obviously). Another server started serving us the wrong drinks. When I got my drink (7$ earl grey hot chocolate) it did not have any earl grey flavor. We had to remind them to bring a black coffee out as well. When food was served, my sister in laws meal had to be fixed because they put regular gravy on instead of the vegan. Another server tried to serve us more food (wrong table) while we were eating food. The place was pretty calm and no wait. Food was decent. The restaurant was clean and nice. The service team didn't seem to be able to problem solve, or notice details (no high chair, wrong orders, etc); however they were polite. The lack of being able to help answer gf questions was disappointing, especially since the menu doesn't even have gf indication by items. I ordered stuffed French toast (seasonal one with pears and mascarpone and a pear sauce drizzle); it did not seem to be stuffed or drizzled with anything. Any things that a server should be able to observe and try to remedy, went unnoticed. I don't think having to ask for a high chair for example should be necessary, it should be clear to the server to ask the guest and or just bring one over. This was Sunday at 10am (10/5/25).

Very tasty breakfast
Unique food options. Everything was delicious!
My bridesmaids and I went to Rooster for a brunch on the first morning of my bachelorette weekend. We were greeted by a host who audibly gasped when we said there was 8 of us. Despite this, we were seated very quickly. We then ordered our drinks, which came in an adequate amount of time. However, when the drinks were being passed out, the last 2 drinks and tray (a mimosa and dark colored iced coffee) were accidentally dumped down the back of my white dress and backpack. I was soaked and covered in brown stains down the back of my dress, in addition to the pulp all over my hair. I had to leave the restaurant to clean myself up before getting a single sip of my mimosa. Understanding that accidents happen, we decided to still order food for take out. The real issue came in with how the situation was dealt with. There was so many opportunities that the management could have compensated for their mistake and chose not to. We had to request for the drinks to be taken off our bill. They offered a 30% discount on our food. We took the food back to our Air B&B before realizing that an entire meal (that we paid for) was missing from the bag. We again, requested to be refunded MINIMALLY for the meal we didn’t receive. Management said they will “figure it out” for us. During our last contact with the restaurant, we were still unsure if this would be a full or partial refund. It has now been nearly 48 hours and no refund has been processed. The whole situation was extremely upsetting but mostly due to the fact that they made little to no effort to accommodate for the fact that I (the bride wearing all white) had a tray of drinks poured down my back.
My friends and I had an interesting time. The atmosphere was good and the place was very clean. We wanted a cute place for my friend’s Bachelorette brunch and thought this would be the perfect place. After ordering our drinks (there were 8 of us total), they were brought to our table. About half way through passing out the drinks, the waiter’s helper spilled a dark colored beverage all over the bride to be. She had to leave with another member of the party (the back of the ALL WHITE dress was stained pretty bad & there was pulp from one of the drinks all in her hair) & was very distraught about the situation. The staff were apologetic and tried to clean up as best as they could. We decided to place a to go order instead of eating there. The manager was very apologetic as well and gave us a discount on a lot of our food & drinks. Once we all got back to our house, we noticed we were missing an order. After calling and asking for a refund (just for the order we did not receive), I have still yet to be refunded. I absolutely understand that accidents happen, but the follow up with forgetting food (after what just happened) is kinda crazy. The food overall was average.
Been a long time customer. Always liked the crepes, but the current kitchen is fairly inconsistent with the quality of the food they serve. Two times in a row the crepes were very undercooked having a dough like texture. Manager is a good guy and remedied the situation, had it cooked correctly. But I remember back in the early days when Dave Bailey was in the downtown Rooster location every day, cooking and overseeing the operation. Now he has several restaurants. Maybe he should spend a little more time actually in his kitchens seeing what is going on and correcting obvious mistakes.
What a great brunch for Fathers Day! Slingers, crepes, scrambles, farmers platters are outstanding. Want a specialty cocktail to add to the celebration...they have those too.

I recommend this beautiful place for breakfast or lunch very cool place for kids too lol
I work around the corner and tend to order pick up from here. I like the smoothies - but every time I order and I get to the place they tell me they don't have it. Today, I ordered food for pick up and it was supposed to be ready by 10:28. I got there at 10:45 and was told my food wasn't ready. At 10:56 I asked how much longer it would be. I was then told they didn't have the smoothie I ordered so I exchanged it. Then a different staff member told me they couldn't find my ticket in the kitchen. A third staff member asked me for my order and it turns out it was in the front the entire time. So, I got my food 20 minutes later and COLD. I will not be back
I was in Rooster twice before and liked it a lot. And I decided to introduce it to my friend today. And the food was awful. My crepe was not tasty at all. My friend said that his biscuits and gravy was the worst he had ever eaten. Rooster potatoes were awful taste as well. When my friend paid , and there was a question if he liked the service, the server said that he didn't have to write anything. People come to the restaurant to eat decent food. It is not free. Very dissappointed.
