Gross. I watched the host pet a huge dog and hair went flying all around the restaurant and covered the floor. He then grabbed menus to seat us. And went into the kitchen to contaminate everything else in dogs germs. So nasty and unsanitary i couldn’t EVEN
Having dogs in a closing restaurant is so poorly thought out and nasty. Everyone doesn’t have a dog at home and want those type of germs in their food. Crazy that I even have to type that.

I absolutely NEVER give a one star review on a first time Visit but thie was so absurd, I dont even know.how to react.
My boyfriend and I stopped in for a drink tonight. The bartender was so absolutely foul, angry and aggressive for no reason. We walked in, sat at the bar and waited. She threw a basket of chips at us even though we weren't there to order food.
Another lovely couple came in after us and she was just as aggressive, angry and just MEAN to them.
We left before finishing our drinks. We saw the bartender later after the shoe next door and she was just as vapid and mean. Why?
I live in south city and I have NEVER seen someone so outwardly AGGRESSIVE and ANGRY. Who hurt you? Not a good look.

Just ate here for the first time. The atmosphere reminds me of home. The customer service is top notch and the food quality and presentation honestly cannot be beaten anywhere in the state. My huge thanks go the main manager! If you want Real authentic Tex Mex, then this is the spot!

Have kids menus but hand you a full size drink w no lid for your child. Not kid friendly. Not authentic food at all. ‘Street tacos’ w way too much crap on them, loads of shredded cheese, so soggy they fell apart when I picked it up. Horrible margarita that was supposed to be the best, top shelf. My 3 year old child got sick the next morning from eating beef taco. So bad, very regretful that I took my children here after Monster Jam in StL. ☹️

My boyfriend and I ate here before our concert. The food was so good, and I’d never had coconut rice before going here, I absolutely loved it. Our server was so sweet, our drinks were never empty and she took great care of us. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d definitely come back here ☺️

We had a massive party tonight, and Dereion, Courtesha C, and Mia took the best care of us! Our group can be picky and complicated, but they worked with us to take care of everything. The communication between the 3 of them and me was so clear and easy. We were on the same page the whole night. They made it a great night.
This is always a great spot to get some good food and have a fun time. We love coming back here year after year and can't recommend it enough!

Food.is great, has a more authentic flavor. Big booths that hold 8. Many is typical mexican but they have nice fried tortillas.
The last time I was there I ordered the chicken enchiladas dinner with an extra enchilada. The chicken had a watery taste to it as if the chicken came out of a can. Ordered the dinner to go. Have not been back. I also gave a tip.

The food was great besides the hair in the salsa. The service was not. There were two tables besides me and yet it took 20 to get the check after requesting and 30 minutes to get the receipt. After I received the receipt, I noticed that gratuity was already on there but I was unaware because all that the server presented me tableside was the gratuity screen so I tipped 20%. So now I paid 37% gratuity due to “late night” gratuity? I wouldn’t recommend going there even though the food was flavorful.

Went around 5pm on a Saturday night and had no wait. We enjoyed the guac (esp the surprise lettuce on bottom and carne asada (steak) fajitas. I appreciated the large number of veggies included. Our waitress was great and very attentive - saw when we needed refill on water and brought extra tortillas, sour cream, and cheese for us.
