Late Eve,
I caught your segment a few months back on fox, 2 news. Rouge Bistro was classified a Restaurant. I have tried to visit your establishment typically on the weekends between the hours of 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm It is a group of 10 of us who come out and review, support businesses. I'm confused as why is there an entrance fee for the men? I feel spending $75 to $100 entrance fee for the gentleman that are typically in my group is excessive! There's typically five men in my group and they've been quoted an entrance fee of $15 to 20 dollars per head. Thats excessive! I've ask if there's an event or party going on each time I visited I was told No each time I visited. I'm looking for clarity. Are you a restaurant? Are you a nightclub? I'm not used to restaurants charging customers money just to come in to purchase food from their establishment. If you're nightclub, it would make more sense. And we've declined each and every time, so this is why I don't have food to review.

I booked a party three in a half weeks in advance when I arrived nothing wasn't together they never told me the kitchen close a certain so we only had three foods we could get chicken sandwiches, hamburger fries no dj employee playing music from his phone with commercials bartender running upstairs and downstairs trying wait on everyone from disappointing

Some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. It’s bad, yall, and that’s all I’m going to say. Running an establishment isn’t for everyone, and it’s definitely not for the individuals involved in running this one. They have no clue! I rented the rooftop for my birthday celebration, and the level on inconsistency and lack of responsiveness in the communication was mind blowing. Arrived for my event, 15 minutes before it was due to start, and nothing was set up. They took my deposit in person, but acted like they had no recollection of even dealing with me prior to the event. I have so many text messages and DMs. I was floored. Never, ever again!! I will never set foot in this place again!

Huh? What contract? Now you on here trying to act like y’all are about business. There was no contract. That’s funny! I didn’t pay for the food package? This is not about food. Now you’re on here just flat out lying! This isn’t about a food package and you know it. It was never my intent to have you all cater anything. And that was discussed, which is why when I arrived, I asked that all the food stuff be removed out of the space! What are you even talking about? I simply wanted a place for my friends to gather and celebrate my birthday. I told you from day one that I wasn’t buying food and that everyone was buying their own food. This is about the fact that you self admitted to not putting my gathering on your calendar after you took my money and we agreed on everything. Then you had the nerve to rush me and my friends outta there for another event. I had the space until 8, and at 7:30, you all began rushing us. Just say y’all messed up. I said what I said to you, to everyone involved, and now I’m saying it publicly. My ppl, don’t waste ya time with this one ??

No kids after a certain time?! Would’ve been nice to know that on the website or google. Additionally, having bouncers for a restaurant seemed a bit intense for a restaurant. Oh well!

Location is convenient with a parkinglot and street parking. The service was excellent and I feel they went above and beyond my expectations. I was a call in order and the food was ready in 10 min. If I wasn't working, I would have dined in because the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing with good music playing. It even smelled good! When they brought my food out, it was hot, the crispy chicken sandwich was crispy on the outside and very juicy on the inside. A must try! I had the Ceasar salad as a side and they make their croutons from scratch. I will be back! Thanks for a great lunch and experience!

Wow, I looked up some good places in St. Louis and this little gem popped up on Instagram. The good looked amazing and seemed reasonably priced, so I figured why not. My husband and I stilled by 8/21 around 1 for a late lunch. As soon as we walked in, we were happily greeted and quickly seated. Everything sounded great. We had a hard time trying to figure out what we wanted. Finally, we figured we would try the orange meat balls, spaghetti with meatballs, and rough wings. Nothing disappointed! It all came out hot and fresh. You could really tell the quality was there. We will definitely be returning and bringing friends and family. This is the one!

Parking: The parking is located on the side of the building. Itbis paid parking, you can use your credit card, money, or apple pay

Kid-friendliness: Kids are accepted.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to het inside, but sometimes the door is locked, and you may have to ask for assistance.

BTW this review is very preserved... Food took over an hour to come out when there weren't that many people in the establishment. Then when my food finally came out, it wasn't hot and looked as if they gave me 3 day old baked mac and cheese. The crust on top of the mac, in which has never been advertised, was hard enough to break skin if thrown. I also ordered a plate to go and it was the same way. Let's just say dinner was ruined... Not to mention we were celebrating a birthday smh. The advertisements make it look nice but what I got was far beyond the expectations/public deliverance they have been displaying. I won't be going back and encourage you to think twice and to go where you know. If help is needed, have a hiring fair or something... I'm sure there is someone with talent to assist with customer satisfaction and better presentation who takes better pride in what they do... I know of a few.

Meatballs are very large, good flavor. I was not a fan of the red sauce BUT the marinara was very good. Fried cheese was very different in a good way. Loved the music playing. The rouge wing sauce YUM!!!

Horrible are you a restaurant or do you want to be a club I’m just saying I will never give this place a chance customer service horrible was not greeted at the door I guess you just sit where you want to took 45mins to get a dang Drink ordered food at the same time I ordered my drink never seen the food I paid for my drink and left never again

This place is definitely one of my top 5 favorite restaurants that I’ve eaten at in the past couple of months!! I had the Italian turkey pesto meatballs, the jerk meatballs, the jerk chicken wings and the spinach artichoke dip. Everything was AMAZING. Our waitress/bartender was friendly and extremely attentive and made some of the best top shelf margaritas. This place is a must.
