Happened to drive past this place as I was googling where to eat and I'm so glad we stopped!!
Started with a soup with chicken, veggies and noodles that just hit the spot. Was delighted to find sumac on the table with the salt.
We shared the kebab plate with barg (steak) and chicken and it was amazing! It came with delicious rice and a salad with a yummy yogurt cucumber dressing. The meat was grilled just right and the spices were complex, warming - but not very spicy, and well-balanced. They had hot sauce on the table and a whole grilled jalapeño was served with the kebab, so we were able to adjust the heat. Even though we shared, it was alot of food and VERY filling.
There are grocery items sold inside as well with a selection of drinks and desserts. The service was excellent. The man was friendly and accommodating. I was delighted to learn something new about cardamom and black tea! I just wish I had caught his name. 🤦
I highly recommend this place. We don't make it to St Louis too often, but we will be back!

The best food! I arrived from New York yesterday and tried this dish. For $20, I got a lot of delicious food 🥘. I ate three times in the evening, morning, and afternoon, and there was still some left over. The portions were very large. I recommend this food to anyone in this city—it's the best. A lot of parking spaces

The kebab was delicious; it was perfectly cooked, and the meat was tender with a great texture. I really loved the flavor of the rice.

Craving kebabs, and this place offered the kubideh (ground beef)which is one of my favorites, flavors were very good, I tried the hummus, dolmas, chicken, steak & beef kebabs, all had good flavors, the ground beef and chicken were my favorite. The plate comes with a generous portion of rice and perfectly grilled tomatoes. The sauce was nothing I'd have again. They put 2 on the table in squeeze bottles, one tasted like buffalo sauce and one like ranch.
The restaurant is small with just a couple tables, not sure I'd go there again to eat inside, but would order pick up for sure.
We got a baklava to go and it was very good!
We were told at the end of the meal, no cards, cash or zelle only, and I NEVER have cash with me except today, thank goodness!
I guess if you order to go you have to Zelle them? Weird...Anyway, prices were very fair, food was good!

The food is outstanding. The flavors are so delicious such that you encounter the flavor with every bite as if it was the first bite. Quite mesmerizing and unforgettable. Parvez is an incredible cook and he pours genuine love into his food such that it is palpable.

The service is very hospitable; it feels like visiting close family members. We will definitely return many times when we are in the St. Louis area.

Not good English speakers but the food itself is very authentic. Ordered lamb shank plate and the lamb meat just peels off like how the Americans talk about rib bones. Very very great food. Not great dine in but food itself is worth it. Alhamdulillah!

Service is a issue primarily because the server was an elderly lady who did not understand English.

I’m not too sure how much English is spoken here, but I think if you speak Arabic, you’ll be okay. The Gyro sandwich did not have as much meat as shown on the menu picture, but it had a good taste.

I love to support neighborhood restaurants and have ordered from here in the past via DoorDash several times. But I was disappointed today. The chicken kabob is very tasty. The salad used to be really nice. They've decided to add dill sandwich pickles to the salad. Why? That is just weird. They used to use a magenta saffron in their rice. Now it's orange, which is totally fine. But I was looking at it sideways after seeing Velveeta packaging in their restaurant and was wondering why the rice didn't seem like saffron was the used ingredient.

Today was the first day I actually went to pick up my order. The most upsetting thing about my visit was that my meal was $14.99. When the man rung me up he charged my card $18.99. The menu was right there on the counter with the prices listed. I asked him about it and he said taxes increased the price. I pushed further and he tried to give me a $1 from the tip jar because I called out his dishonesty Tax isn't 25% plus last time I checked. I just told him to keep it. If you need to steal $4 in exchange for losing future business, just take it because that's the last dollar you'll get from me.

Dishonesty in this way is super disappointing. Times are tough for people, but that wasn't ok. I won't be back. I was so happy when they opened up and didn't want to write a bad review. But maybe by doing so they won't pull that mess in the future.

Amazing food in a spot that you would never notice. The food is worth the drive. The prices are very reasonable for the portions given. There is a lot of love in this food.
