With bit of nostalgia, rolling up to this Ruma's location, I remembered going to Ruma's drive thru somewhere in St. Louis with family and getting a prosperity sandwich. Upon arrival, this location shared some of that same nostalgia, and had the atmosphere of an unassuming hole in the wall diner. Brock and his crew were very friendly and accommodating, even though the place was hopping. I ordered a Prosperity sandwich and Gerber sandwich, and grabbed a table near an arcade...
The Gruber is the best thing I have tried. It is a good mix of ham, cheese, and garlic.
I tried the Prosperity as well. I felt like that one needed something more. The roast beef was good, but maybe some more gravy or possibly a side container for dipping.

Rumas is definitely a staple in south county and always the best food. If you have never been you definitely need to take a trip here and enjoy some the best sandwiches and pizza!!
