I have had dinner at Russell‘s on Maclin many times but never been there for brunch. It was delightful. The food was delicious and The Service outstanding.

Disappointed in both our meals. Cuban, huge chunks of pork that were very tough and dry. Meat might have been better shredded. Bread toasted not pressed as Cuban sandwiches are. The ham was good so took it off and ate it alone. Left other half of sandwich vs taking with. French fries hot and fresh. Loved them!! Biscuits and gravy with weird spice. Not enough gravy to cover biscuits. Egg was cooked perfect and good. No more brunch for us. Love the regular lunch and dinner menu. One of our STL favorites.

This was my first time Russel's on Macklind. It is now my favorite restaurant in STL. It was my 1st anniversary. Maggie, the owner, contacted me beforehand and they went above and beyond to make it really special. I dropped off roses before hand. They had the perfect table picked out with chilled wine and flowers ready. My girlfriend loved it, and they threw in dessert as an extra surprise. Honestly, the best dining experience so have had in St. Louis and the food was incredible. I would put it on par or better than any restaurant in STL. Most comparable would be Polite Society.

All good w the exception of the noise level. It was off the chart due to several large tables inside. Very difficult to even carry on a conversation. Otherwise, a good experience. Was also very disappointed you wee outta meatloaf since it was so early. With such a limited menu, it makes a difference! Waiter was great

Such a fun place to brunch! We sat upstairs this time and the bartender was friendly and attentive. BLATE is my go-to and did not disappoint! My husband ordered the crab cake and it was delicious, too!

Their servers and staff are so attentive. The food is delicious and comes out at the perfect temperature. One recommendation: make a reservation! They are always busy. :)

Been to this restaurant many times and had great experiences. This last visit was a disappointment. Service was slow and disjointed. We had the burger, only ok and overpriced. The salads we ordered came out after dinner and were only ok. We went to the counter and asked about dessert choices. The person behind the counter said it would take too long to describe everything but nothing had labels. Selected a raspberry cake. It was dry and the icing was tough. We will give them another try but it will be a while.

We had a delightful time and a delightful waitress, Nikki, who was so knowledgeable about everything on and off the menu, and so personable. The watermelon salad was outstanding and should be ordered as an entree, or at least shared. More than half went home with me and was just as good the next day. I hope this isn't gone from the menu too soon. The flatbread was large and piled high with fresh and unusual ingredients - another meal for the next 2 days. "The Joan" is a new favorite cocktail and shouldn't be missed. No room for dessert which is a shame given the awesome offerings.

We got stuck in traffic and missed our original reservation time but the staff was so accommodating in getting us settled. Our experience was wonderful.
Kevin was an excellent server! The food was delicious especially the crab cake for the appetizer.

Won't go back. Overpriced and food was fair. Tables are also extremely small and tight for a party of 4. Even the waitress agreed. Carrot cake was really dry

A trip to Russell's on Macklind always leave us in a happy state. The night was lovely, the service friendly and genuine. The servings are always plenty and tasty. We love heading out to Russell's because we know our experience will be worth it!
