Used to go to Mayo Ketchup and get the bowls all the time, swung by Salsa Rosada and was disappointed. The meat was really tough and there were raw grains of rice in my bowl. The staff is nice but the quality was just not there.

Stopped here on my way through the city from out of state. Looked for a small business to support. This place hit the spot. Delicious, simple eats. The chicken bowl is amazing. I left over stuffed. My kids had a Cubano and the Venezuelan hotdog. Big hits with them as well.
I avoid gluten and was able to find multiple things I could have eaten here.

Edit: I took down my original comment, but your petty reply just confirmed how off-putting the whole experience was. The service was disorganized—food and drinks were delayed and even misplaced. But what really made everyone at our table uncomfortable was watching you deflect blame onto the only POC front-of-house staff member. It reeked of a lack of accountability and carried an unsettling undercurrent of racism.
Also, the food and margarita? Totally mid.
Owner went out of her way to deliver something our dasher forgot to. On top of that everything was delicious!

It was my 1st time eating here. I dined in the restuarant. Food was good. It was New Year's Day, less and 8 customers. After woman brought my meal to the table, no one ever came out and checked on me or to see if I needed anything, even after the restuarant was completely empty. It sounded like a party was going on in the kitchen.
But, on the bright side I have just been cured of pre-tipping staff & now I will just look online and experiment with new flavors at home until I find a different Venezuelan restuarant.

I went with my daughter last Friday , and the guy who is in the front was unfriendly. Didn’t give info about the vegan empanadas, plus he seemed upset. The vegan mushrooms were overly fried and super dry.
Not welcoming people there. Not going back again to this restaurant.

I ordered a chicken arepa and a shredded meat arepa, the mechada meat one never arrived, they brought me a chicken pie but with wheat flour, also the toston had no flavor and the banana looked old, the avocado was damaged, very bad attention

I ordered a grilled chicken cachapa and they gave me shredded chicken. The Reina Pepiada arepa tastes like tuna, not chicken. It looks like tuna with onion and a green sauce. Reina Pepiada is shredded chicken and avocado. Honestly, it's nothing like typical Venezuelan food.

We showed up like 20 minutes before they closed not realizing it till we arrived. We only went for the hotdogs as my boyfriend had been talking about them for a month but every time we made it over they were closed or about to close but this time we barely made it! Despite our late entry they staff was beyond accommodating and helped us to order and had the food out promptly! We ordered both the options of hotdogs Venezuelan and Colombian. All I can say is they were both so delicious the bread tasted homemade it was toasted where it needed to be but soft on the inside. As far as which was which I really don’t know as they looked and tasted the same but equally delicious. I will be back to try other options on their menu. Also they changed that evening to May/ Ketchup officially and we’re releasing new menus the following day so I cannot wait to try some of the options!

Went with some friends and tried a few different dishes. Everything was solid, fresh, flavorful, and had a beautiful presentation! Will definitely be back and excited to learn about it as it’s a perfect location to hit before a Fox show, or sports game!
