Used to go to Mayo Ketchup and get the bowls all the time, swung by Salsa Rosada and was disappointed. The meat was really tough and there were raw grains of rice in my bowl. The staff is nice but the quality was just not there.

Stopped here on my way through the city from out of state. Looked for a small business to support. This place hit the spot. Delicious, simple eats. The chicken bowl is amazing. I left over stuffed. My kids had a Cubano and the Venezuelan hotdog. Big hits with them as well.

I avoid gluten and was able to find multiple things I could have eaten here.

We visited the aquarium and this wasn’t too far away. Nice aquarium beautiful exhibits but rather small. We ordered the avocado empanadas, a shareable dish. Mostly bread, but a good dipping sauce. Then we shared the tostones and some yellow rice & pigeon peas. The main dish was very good. Be sure to ask for the vegan sauce, the ones out are not vegan. It was very good and very fried.
