We stopped here for a lunch of appetizers. We ordered Fried House Pickles, Burnt Ends Toasted Ravs, Hush Puppies, Cherry Smoked Wings and Loaded Beef Fat Fries.
The Hush Puppies were very dense and bland. They are served with Maple Butter which was so delicious and helped give them flavor.
The Loaded Beef Fat Fries are AMAZING! OMG 🤤. They are served with bacon, cheese sauce and Alabama ranch. They are so rich and garlicky. They are just so frickin good.
The Cherry Smoked Wings were very flavorful and were nicely smoked.
The Burnt End Toasted Ravs were nice and crispy. You wouldn’t know by eating them that the filling was supposed to be burnt ends. Overall they really lacked flavor.
The Fried House Pickes are made with three kinds of pickles; B&B, Dill Spears and Gherkins. They were unique and they all were very sweet tasting, almost like they were bread and butter pickles.
For drinks we had a Walnut Old Fashioned and a Pineapple Margarita. Both were so good. Like soooo good.
We would love to come back and try some main courses next time.

It may be because I’m not from here and I’m just used to different BBQ and restaurant settings but they don’t seem to want to run the AC in here even though it’s 90 outside. The chicken is VERY dry. The sauce on the table is all very runny. The potato salad is literally 1 whole red potato cut in half, mixed with peppers and mayonnaise it seems. My experience with potato salad is vastly different. The fries appetizer was good. Being sweaty and eating dry chicken with water that the ice melts so fast just isn’t my idea of a good time.

Fantastic experience! You can truly tell the pitmaster has a deep passion for what she does and makes sure the food matches that. From the cocktails to the plates, everything was absolutely delicious. Worth every minute of the 45 minutes it took us to get to the Loop to have dinner.

Food tasted like liquid smoke it was cold and they served burnt bread & then tried to convince me that's how it's made. Ballpark location is much better food much fresher.
I did not pick this as our place to eat. Lazy BBQ, you have to put the sauce on, they don't cook it on and caramelize it too bad, lazy BBQ places are a dime a dozen. I want real BBQ. And the sauce was weird, it was very runny, not really sauce, and no popping flavors. This food wasn't any better than Bandana's, at least they have a good hot sauce. The popover was just crusty air, there was no flavor and no substance, not sure what it was even supposed to be. The baked beans were ok, no big flavor, the green beans were pretty good. The french fries were about the only thing that had any outstanding seasoning. The service was good considering we had a 16 person table, our server (and the cooks) did an excellent job of getting everyone their stuff at the same time. The atmosphere was the best thing about it. A smallish, pretty quite eatery but would never go there again.

We just used their catering for a wedding Saturday. The food was sooooo good. People were raving. Service, from start to finish, great. They even asked if I wanted leftovers and boxed everything up. I would highly recommend doing a taste test if you don't want the traditional wedding food. AWESOME

Went here before seeing a show at the pageant. Food was OK but not worth another visit for us. we had the pulled chicken with beef fries and Mac.
The chicken just tasted smoky with little other flavor and the cheese on it made it taste off. The mac was good. The fries tasted of smoke and beef, which was something I did not enjoy as someone who chose the chicken to avoid beef. However, I will note that I chose the beef fries (on me) but didn’t expect them to taste straight up like beef and smoke.
We asked for a patio seat and were led to a table that wasn’t clean and had no seats.
Our server was excellent. She gave us club soda when I got bbq on my yellow blouse and the sauce came right off. She was a lifesaver and would commend her all day.
