We loved it here. The meats were smoked to perfection. Every sauce we tried was superb. The sides really made the meal. The fried pickles were elite. Cannot say enough good things about this place!

Sat at the bar fri night sept 5. The table was a mess. The bartender took forever and when I asked if he minded clearing the empty bottles and wiping it down, he wiped the slop by dragging the menu over it. I mean come on, seriously??????

I ordered the “brisket plate” for takeout and was really disappointed with what I received. I specifically asked for 1/2 burnt ends and 1/2 lean brisket, but my box only had 4 burnt ends and two slices of “lean brisket”. For a price of $26.02 the portions were shockingly small. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Would not recommend.

Excellent location in the ballpark village. Good representation of St. Louis BBQ with options like the burnt end sandwich while also having fried ravioli. Numerous sauce options to fit different tastes. Lots of brews on tap.

1 - The brisket was overcooked and dry - like leather. It was bad enough that they brought me a bowl of better brisket when I showed it to them. 2 - The wings were equally overcooked, and the ribs were just mediocre. 3 - The fries were good, but not worth the price - burger chains make great fries. 3 - The service was slow and infrequent. I finally had to show the overcooked brisket to another waitress because I could not get the attention of my waitress. Salt and Smoke is grossly over-rated and the food is very mediocre to poor quality. Completely not worth the money or the calories.

The Hosts need to be taught to sit couples more spread out if you're not busy. Additionally,if you're not busy there's no excuse for cold food.(Yet my bread was burned) Your servers have stains all over their clothes,and your tables are too small to comfortably eat something like BBQ. Couples shouldn't feel like someone is listening to them beside them. I knew Memphis had better BBQ,but you make me proud that Memphis also just does everything else better. Your dry Brisket and peppery pulled pork isn't BBQ it's blasphemy. The meal looked so bad they server came and took it away and brought me the check because she knew it wasnt worth the plate it was on.

We were an energetic table of 17. Lexi had so much patience for us. She answered all of our questions and made sure everyone had what they needed. The food was delicious, we split several apps and everyone was satisfied with what they ordered. I got the full kale salad with the salmon and it was so big ! I’m very happy to take some home because it was so freaking good.
