Everything about my experience was amazing. The hostess was sweet, our server was attentive and friendly, allowed us to take our time and enjoy. And the food was amazing.We started with the crab cakes and they were so good.
This is actually quite tasty for a museum cafe. The servings are large (my salad filled a large plate and hubby’s hotdog was almost a foot long). Pizza is a good choice if you want to feed multiple people. This restaurant is on the second floor and overlooks the big curved stairs.
We ate here because it’s inside the City Museum and we didn’t want to waste time walking somewhere else. I’m gluten-sensitive (not celiac) so I asked if they had gluten-free sandwich bread and was told they had a cauliflower pizza crust that would work for me. Come to find out, they were out. I also heard them say they were out of steak, they thought the chicken had gluten in it, someone else was waiting a really long time for her food and it was only 1:15...the whole thing...
