Very disappointed with food quality. Toasted ravioli crisp to burned, crab cake was burned, filet steak absolutely without any flavor. Delicious dessert and great wine. Will not go back there.

Top-notch steakhouse! The bone-in ribeye was the best I ever had. Lobster bisque was sensational. And the smothered pork chop was divine. Highly recommended for any special occasion. They treat you like royalty there in every aspect. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing dinner all the time. I've been going here for 27 yrs.. Always a must to have a drink at the bar before dinner.. The holidays are decorated like no other restaurant in St.Louis, I know.. Get the Louisiana shrimp before dinner amazing appetizer and the shrimps are big. Every one of their steaks are top shelf. If you want it rare it's gonna come rare and ask for Waiter Mitch Miles He's been there for eight years. Mitch knows and Mitch delivers..

I've been here 3 times and always getting prime rib medium. All 3 times it has. O taste. Bland. Driving in an hour to your restaurant is getting to not be worth it

Food was OK. Was mildly warm when it came out. Have been to 4 and 5 star restaurants that blew my socks off. My issue was service. If you are going to charge a mandatory 20% tip on a party of 6 your service should equal that of a smaller party. Our server came to our table 4 times during the 1.5 hour meal. Our drinks sat empty for 30 minutes at one point. Looked like the server was more attentive to his smaller tables that had ordered alcoholic drinks. I have seen this trend before. Mandatory tips do not incentivize servers to do their jobs. $84 tip was not at all earned in this case.

Great service by Harry. Good food but not the same as before Denny Long, owner, passed away last year. Removing piano from the bar area was a mistake. Just not the same.

They put us in a back room with two large parties going on and it was almost 80 degrees. There were only two other tables in the room other than the large party groups and everyone seemed miserable.

We've been coming here for 20+ years, and it is absolutely wonderful every visit. We honestly marvel at how consistently delicious the food is, how consistently on-point the service is, and how every time we finish a meal at Sam's we are completely satisfied. Highly recommend.

Our table was split. The steak people were pretty happy, although no one said it was best steak they've ever had. I had crab cakes with steak fries and they were both very disappointing. Fries were soggy and lukewarm; clearly not made to order. Crab cake (I only ate one) was bland and lukewarm.
