My tacos (chicken and beef) had no seasoning/flavor whatsoever. Waste of money and calories. Only ate it because I was starving. Very disappointing. Should have just gone to Taco Bell.

One of the worst experiences dining out I have had. Let me start by saying that this place was not even remotely busy while we were there. My family of 4 walked in and were seated pretty quick, and the drink order was taken. Once the drinks were delivered, we had not seen who I thought was our server for roughly 20 minutes. There was another server that was taking care of the only other occupied table I had seen. This server had walked right past our table several times and had seen us sitting there with menues closed and waiting for a server. After waiting 20 minutes for someone to take the order, I went to find the person who took our drink order. I was able to find this person, and he was in total shock that I was asking him if we could order food. I asked him "Are you not our server?" He just shook his head and said come on. Once we got back to the table, he took the order and 30 minutes later we finally saw another individual. This time was a woman that I am assuming was supposed to had been our server the whole time. 2 out of 4 of the meals were completely wrong, and wth the service up to this point I had very little faith in getting a correct replacement. My wife did tell them hers was incorrect, and told the very slowly what it was supposed to be. approximatly 13-15 minutes later, the replacement was brought to the table. I do believe it was even further away from what she had ordered. She decided to eat some of what was brought to the table, but looked like it was a plate of reheated leftovers from who knows when with a couple of slices of cheese half melted on top. The so called server that we finally had, asked me how everything was when she handed me the check. I told her about the visit and she just looked at me, smiled and took our card to run it.

We went for lunch on a Sunday and it was nice weather so we sat on the patio. Chips and salsa were fine. Cheese dip was good. Service was horrible. We did not know who our server was since multiple people came to our table. Some guy took our order. We waited a long time for food to arrive, even though they were not busy. My food came out incorrect so I sent it back. It came out wrong a second time so I just ate it. I ordered grilled chicken with zucchini, broccoli and mushrooms covered in cheese dip. The veggies were raw, no cheese dip and the chicken was not cut into strips, just whole chicken breast. I’ve had the dish at many other Mexican restaurants and it’s usually so good. Very disappointing. Will not return. Also, the menu stated lunch from noon-3 pm, but they said no lunch menu on weekends. The menu did not specify what days.

We had my daughter’s baby shower catered for 30 people and it was amazing! My husband picked up the food and it was plenty of food for possible 60 people. It was so much more food than I expected and it was delicious. We had tacos and a nacho bar and chips, Queso dip and salsa. Everyone raved about the food. San Jose was excellent ❤️! The foos was pretty good, wish the frozen margarita was stronger but the second regular Strawberry margarita was better so 5 stars all around. If you want something thats fulfilling come to this spot.

Could've saved $20 but didn't because after I asked them about it, they said they can't take anything off of alcohol. We used to go here all the time, but no more. Under the management and they are not good.
