Yeah I don’t know why they brand themselves as latino or a tapas place, cause the bartender literally told me they’re mostly a whiskey bar. Like, they had dozens of whiskeys at the bar but only a couple tequilas and two mezcals? The food was very american, I had the sliders, and it was okay. I honestly think they called themselves a tapas place so they can get away with smaller serving sizes (for the same price as an entree somewhere else). Super mid, not surprised they’re closed.

I don't even know where to begin. Foster was fantastic and made some great recommendations. He was even very patient with my indecisiveness, bless his heart. The atmosphere here is just right up my alley. Don't even get me started on, not just the food altogether, but the freaking burger!! 🤤 we would come back to this city from out of state JUST to have another bite of that baby! Compliments to the chef on the Dublin Deluxe (although, this is from their to-go menu and may not be available for dine in), but oh my goodness! Yum! AND the Vaca Frita!! So much flavor! The ONLY thing I didn't care for was the chocolate cigar dessert. They were burnt on the bottom, and I cannot stand the taste of burnt food at all, but my bf didn't mind them.. the chocolate on the inside and the whipped cream with them were delightful. I think they make them that way to get that cigar look/feel, but too over done for me personally. The outback seating area has a midevil vibe that is to die for 😉😈.
Just absolutely loved it here and so glad we stumbled upon it before we head back to MI!

The atmosphere is incredible inside and out. We have been for Sunday brunch and regular menu on Saturday. Everything has been great to include the service.

The atmosphere and decor at Sanctuaria is the perfect place for Dia de los Muertos! The food is delicious and very rich, with strong flavors! The people were very friendly and just attentive enough while still giving us space for our date night. We would definitely go back!

Great spot in Grove neighborhood. Tried 6 different dishes that were all delicious—Cuban frita sliders, Barcelona meatballs, guac with plantains, bacon wrapped dates, Cuban sandwiches . Good live music and wonderful, eclectic art. Alejibres—sort of like chimera animals. Nice patio . Highly recommend—authentic food that's every bit as good as places I've traveled, like Cuba, Miami's Little Havana, Barcelona and northern Spain's Basque Country. Nice rye Manhattan cocktail, too

The food was amazing. The vibe was amazing. The pieces should be in an art gallery. Beautiful, eclectic and warm.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sanctuaria for brunch and it was an experience I can't wait to repeat! From the moment we walked in, the unique ambiance and cool decor set a perfect backdrop for a leisurely meal. The restaurant has such a charming vibe, and the patio is the ideal spot for enjoying good weather and great company. Our server was outstanding, attentive without being overbearing, and really made us feel taken care of throughout our visit. Although it was quiet with only one other table occupied, the service and experience were top-notch. We were thrilled to discover we could order from both the brunch and dinner menus due to the slow day. Everything we tried from the small plates was delicious, perfectly prepared and presented. The cocktails and mimosas we ordered were equally impressive, each one expertly mixed and very enjoyable. Despite the quiet day, our experience at Sanctuaria was nothing short of fabulous. It's definitely a gem worth visiting, especially if you're a fan of tapas and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique dining experience in a gorgeous setting!

Food&Service were ok. We dined just before sundown and were at a table where the very bright sun shone through a window in the bar area that could not be covered and was right in our eyes - hand to use hands to shade the sun. Worst part - we were bothered by fly (or flies) and gnats all evening long.

Food was really mediocre at best - despite paying $$ for what you get. One server was running all night to keep up with patio. Patio was really nice.
