I’ve been to Sasha’s several times. Great wine selection! The food is also quite good. I’ve had the sandwiches and charcuterie.

Addie and Stevie are unbelievable servers, had the best experience with these ladies. I have been many times but they made a girls day of drinking so fun.

Sasha’s on Shaw – A Perfect St. Louis Escape

Sasha’s on Shaw is the kind of place that makes you want to linger. Start with the service—our Nordic server was not only attentive and friendly but also, let’s just say, not bad to look at. It made the whole evening that much more enjoyable.

The cocktails? Absolute perfection—balanced, creative, and clearly made by someone who knows what they’re doing. The wine selection is spot on too, with something for every mood and palate.

We ordered the charcuterie plate to share, and it was exactly what we wanted: beautifully arranged, generous, and perfectly suited to our appetites without being overwhelming.

If you can, sit outside. The patio is a gem, and enjoying it with a glass of wine in hand while soaking up that wonderful St. Louis weather is hard to beat.

Sasha’s isn’t just dinner and drinks—it’s a vibe, and it’s one you’ll want to come back to again and again.

There were 3 of us on a BEAUTIFUL sunny Sunday for brunch. We were greeted about 5 minutes after we were sat. Ordered 2 BLTs and one chicken salad. It took over an hour for the food to arrive without explanation and we had empty mimosas and waters sitting on the table for over 15 minutes each time without anyone asking if we were alright. There were 5-6 tables on the patio the whole time we were there and a few people inside w/ two severs working, so they definitely weren’t overloaded or in the weeds. There was a group of girls next to us that had dirty dishes piled up on their table for 45 minutes. Now we know why such a great patio on a beautiful day was dead!. I brought two friends there because when I had gone over a year ago, it was an amazing experience with delicious food, cocktails, and amazing service with a great atmosphere on the patio. Such a shame to see how it’s gone downhill so badly. Will definitely not be returning.

I’m not really one to post reviews, but I’m incredibly shocked at the level of service that I received this evening at this once revered St. Louis establishment. It’s a Tuesday evening, there’s not a lot of people around and I’m dining by myself. I wanted to sit outside because the temperature is perfect. The host, who is playing 3 roles this evening as host/bartender/table server, hands me my menus and tells me to seat myself. That felt off to me because there is a sign right in front of the host stand that says you have to see the host to be seated. I don’t mind picking my own seat but it was just odd. I’m not used to white glove service here so it didn’t really cause me that much concern until I look at it in light of the rest of the experience. Now you might be saying to yourself that I should have some sympathy they were short staffed. Except for the fact that there were maybe 10 patrons total ans 2 people working behind the bar for all of them. I’ve never waited tables but that doesn’t seem like a huge stretch. There were maybe 3 occupied tables outside and some patrons at the bar and no one sitting at tables inside. I seat myself and the host/bartender/table server comes over to me with water and proceeds to spill a bit on my pants. In his defense I don’t think he realized this and I didn’t make a big deal out of it because it was just a little bit of water. I order a glass of cava, which comes in a mini bottle, which he spills all over the table, but thankfully not on my pants. He apologizes and grabs me a second glass on the house. But it turned out to not even be the same wine. It wasn’t as dry as my cava, I think it was a Prosecco. Not what I was aiming for. Now I’ve been nothing but polite and understanding through all of this. I haven’t complained. I order my crepe, and the sauce that it normally comes with on the side is missing. I wait 10 minutes, maybe longer, thinking someone will come and check on me. The thought in my head is that I’ve received more attentive service in Italy, a place that isn’t really known for fast or attentive service. At this point the feeling that I’m getting from my trinitarian server is that I’m an inconvenience. When I walk up to the bar to ask for the sauce that comes with the crepe, I explain the issue, “Hey, I didn’t get this thing.” And he responds, “yeah,” and then silence for a few seconds while he is staring me in the face. “Can you bring me the sauce please?” “Yeah.” Nothing about being sorry, nothing to acknowledge that I’ve already had a bad night here and there’s another strike to add to the list.

Now I’ve had bad service at this location. Usually just of the inattentive variety. But I’ve ensured a lot at this location previously. I’ve been on the patio with mice darting all around my feet. I’ve sat at the bar for 10 minutes on a slow night before anyone acknowledged my existence. All the things. This is too much now. I will NEVER return.

Margherita flatbread was phenomenal and service was exceptional. Reasonable prices and very soothing vibe for conversation. Bartender made a custom cocktail that slapped and the apple brown sugar crepe was delicious.

I think the atmosphere and wine itself is great, but this facility is SUPER deceiving. I came with a larger group, but when I checked out, the tip being shown seemed low, but the server does not inform you that’s because they’re already adding a 22% tip on your receipt. It is a digital checkout, so they just show you the total, no physical receipt of the purchase breakout. I also received an extra crostini for the app I ordered and without being told, I was charged for this extra bread. If they were upfront about the fees, it would be different, but they aren’t. Incredibly disappointing to try and support a local company that’s stealing during this current economic state.

The food at Sasha’s was great. The service was amazing and I loved the outdoor seating. It’s a whole vibe and I’ll definitely be back.

Moody, warm, and quietly sexy. We love this spot—especially in winter when the scent of fire lingers and the lighting feels just right. Great wine, cozy corners, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to stay for hours.

I love the vibe of this place , the big drink menu and lil’ snacks. It’s close to my place so I like going here. However , almost every time I go im met with terrible service …almost every time our server seems to hate their job, ignore me and my party or is painfully slow. The other day I went there for a couple drinks ONLY and when we asked for the check it took over 20 min for him to come back for the check .. smh

Awesome management and staff.

Service was painfully slow even though the place was nearly empty. I’d tip less than 20% if I didn’t feel guilty. The patio and music are the only things worth coming for tbh.

Highly recommended!

My out of town friend and I stopped at Sasha's on the way home from The Garden. Waitstaff were upfront about the 45 minute wait for food- it was Mother's Day. We were offered a free mimosa. There was no wait time for the bar. So we persevered. I am so glad we did.

There were so many great offerings, it was difficult to make a choice. You could tell from the menu options that the Chef was an inspired genious of food fusion. Well, the food was fabulous! I had the smoked salmon and trout crepe. It was perfectly accompanied by capers, onions and creme frais. The crepe, the sauce, the melt in your mouth smoked fish came together so well, accompanied by the tart capers and crunchy onion. It was a beautiful presentation on the plate, too. My friend had the crab and asparagus salad, which she raved about. My friend and I both used to live in the Shaw neighborhood years ago. We are both thrilled to find such a jewel in our old neighborhood.

PS. Extensive wine list, too.
