This is our 2nd stop at this restaurant on our way into the city. The calzones are delicious! Fun craft sodas, as well as alcoholic beverages available.
Parking: You may have to travel off Manchester a flew blocks to find a free parking spot on the street.

Sauce on the Side is a really fun spot if you’re into calzones. They put a creative spin on them, with tons of topping options to choose from. The sauces are where they really shine—I tried the meat sauce and the French onion sauce, and both were amazing. You can tell they use good-quality ingredients, and everything tastes fresh and flavorful.
Heads up, though—one calzone is definitely enough for one person, so come hungry or be ready to take some home. The drink options are okay, but if you’re a Coke fan, you’re out of luck here.
The food is the highlight for sure, but the service didn’t quite hit the mark. The kitchen staff seems to know what they’re doing, but the servers? Not so much. They could be a bit more on top of things.
All in all, it’s worth a visit for the delicious calzones and great flavors. Just don’t go in expecting stellar service.

This was absolutely FANTASTIC!! My jaw literally dropped when I took the first bite. I was not expecting to be that impressed! I would’ve gotten pictures before we started eating, but I only thought to leave a review after tasting a bit of heaven. I split a Meat Me In Saint Louie with my bff for about $20. It was more than enough for the both of us. We also got spinach artichoke bites. SO good!

Phenomenal salads, calzones, desserts, etc. The gluten free calzones are amazing! The first time I got one, I thought they mistakenly gave me one with gluten, but that's just because it's such a high quality substitute. You might not be able to tell a difference.
Otherwise, I've been a customer for years and all the locations I've been to are true professionals. The Pancho Villa, Duke, Fatty B, Roasty Toasty, S'Mores, and Which Came First are some of my favorites.

I like their new murals! It’s sauce on the side! It’s a chain restaurant but it doesn’t feel like one, at least this location didn’t! I got the MayFlower or something, it was pretty much grandma’s thanksgiving! Even the cranberries! The sauce was gravy. It was pretty good as a one time thing! The Meat me in St. Louis was my favorite. The Salami one was also good. We got a Cesar salad and it was good and large! The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is superb. 👌 Recommended.
Kid-friendliness: The environment is certainly kid friendly, there are high chairs and they’re actually clean in contrast to most restaurants!!

This is by far my favorite food place to eat. The best calzones I have ever had! I have been here 3 times now, but live 4 hours away! I wish we has one in Springfield area. I can't recommend this enough. Plenty of sauces to choose from they're all delicious. Many options for your choice of calzone or make your own; they do not disappoint! This time I got the special Don Corelezone. Mouth watering!!
